There are 36 Ford Mavericks for sale at Long McArthur. Ecoboost are priced $500 below MSRP and Hybrids are priced at MSRP. $495 dealer fee.

I appreciate that it's easy to say that but it's not a real world experience. I voiced that I was not told anything about it previous to coming to finance and that I did not want that. I was told that it was mandatory and that it was already done so it couldn't be removed. So in order to get it removed I would have had to act like I was going to walk......don't have time for the extra games and it was still a better deal than I was finding nearby

The shipping part was nice, but It was just disappointing that it seemed like some of the normal dealer 'tricks' were present.

Those are 2.5L hybrid. The mpg is pulled by the inventory company. I'll try to get them to fix it.

Agreed. Errors are common.
Which could be overlooked when in person sales were 95% and online sales were 5%. I don't know the ratio now but times are changing. More attention to online details are probably warranted.

Not picking on anyone. Just saying at a glance it was impossible to tell Hybrid from EcoBoost last night. There's some free marketing feedback for you guys.

What are the two most important aspects when shopping?

Power Plant and Color for me. 50% of the information I needed was missing or erroneous.

Can you show a screen shot that shows VIN#0396 (that you posted above) that indicates it is an EcoBoost? I can't find that.

Long time lurker first time poster here, I too bought a couple of mavericks from Long McArthur ford and was advised about the etching after the fact and told it couldn’t be removed because it had already been done, I’ve bought 7 mavericks in the last 14 months from 5 dealers and Long McArthur is the only one who added the etching without asking or letting me know it was gonna be on there till I was in the finance office, I paid 2k over sticker for my wife’s cyber orange xlt hybrid maverick, and also for my 2023 xl hybrid Maverick from them, my first 3 company mavericks were at sticker but were ordered, I didn’t complain about the 2k over sticker for a hybrid because they’re so hard to get and I knew up front, my sales guy was fantastic and really great to work with and was the reason I went back and bought another one from Long McArthur, all in all a good experience with Long McArthur ford and Tim and Sara have been a wealth of information, when I originally ordered my 12 mavericks I had no knowledge of allocations, covp, smart Vincent, or any of that but after watching their videos and learning I figured out real quick I was lucky to get 3 of the 12 I ordered

Just as another data point, I bought from LM and at no time was etching ever presented as an option, let alone a requirement.

The eight digit of the Vin# is a 3 which shows its a hybrid.

Vin numbers are supposed to tell you this stuff. But a customer should not be expected to know that and decode is my only point.

And I would have sworn an "H" in there was for hybrid but shows the problem here. Also "Hybrid" was not in the listing name which was weird also.
