100,000 miles is nothing.
Just a little past broken in, really.
The batteries are warranted for 100,000 miles.
Not pro-rated. You get a free replacement at 99,999.

What manufacturer is going to risk cutting that warranty close?

200k easy.
350k possible.

But other stuff could wear out before the battery pack. The other stuff worries me more.
"other things may worry me more". I wonder what a new a/c would cost?

same size, within a few inches all around..
agree, feels like I've just replaced my old truck basically. The Mav is much quicker and more powerful tho, which is odd considering the Sport Trac was 210hp, even combining the electric and IC engines the Mav doesn't have as many horses.
Miss the V6 growl a bit I confess.
Well, in my case, that is great to hear!

I have lined myself up with a couple still kicking around me and couldn't believe how close it was

I am surprised to hear about the speediness, I would have thought otherwise; though, my v6 Escape wasn't as peppy either. Much better at passing at too high of speeds, though.

NIce. At this point have you purchased an extended warranty? Maybe not worth the expense?
Nope, I looked at the optional warranties and laughed. They are all outrageously priced. I'm at a bit over 2 years into Maverick ownership so far, and aside from the many recalls and the 3 12V batteries to date, nothing has gone wrong and I'm not expecting anything other than a paint chip or two, another 12V battery every year due to the known problem with bad BMS programming and hopefully a BMS firmware update to finally resolve that issue. So far my Mav has cost me nothing to maintain and saved about $1300 in fuel compared to a Ranger and its a much better designed vahicle.

That's pretty good for 100k miles, aside from the CV axles that's just basic maintenance!

i used to push tire tread to the limit, and beyond. when i was poor i'd go until steel cord was showing. i now realized it's potentially way cheaper to keep good rubber for the unexpected emergency stops or wet roads.
One piece of advice that I've found invaluable is to never skimp on things that separate you from the ground... Mattresses, shoes, tires, and parachutes.

Went over 100k miles on my 1st edition Maverick and figured I should provide info. Ford wanted to change the trans fluid, replace spark plugs, all air filters, oil change, wheel alignment, and coolant drain/fill. Cost was under $1000 so I let them do it all. They found no issues with anything.

Over the 100k miles I have driven the Maverick, I have replaced the CV axles, the windshield, and the tires. Stock tires made it to almost 90k with zero flats. CV axles were replaced by Ford with the new stock number axles and a warranty. The truck gets 38+ mpg highway and up to 53 in city. I plan to put another 100k on it over the next 3 years. Will report any maintenance needed.

Love my truck!
60K Miles on my 2022 Mav. Replaced the Michelin tires at 44k with the same. Replaced the windshield due to a road stone. The rest is oil changes and recalls. I did bump the warranty to 100k through Ford in 2025.

Yea, you have more faith in the electronics than I do.

Yea 3 years in September at 32k right now and never had a 12v battery problem, transaxles two weeks ago and nothing else but software and oil changes , that I do myself. I am in the "your motor might blow up any minute" category. I have had two oil analysis and I have cut open my last two oil filters and its been zero bearing material so we will see, the warranty has been extended for what thats worth

The hybrid-specific components such as the battery are warranted for 8/100k, and I fully expect the battery to go to at least 300k. At that point I can pick up a battery in the junkyard off a wreck for a couple of hundred bucks. I'm expecting that other hybrid-specific parts will need replacements by then, such as the questionably-designed heat exchanger in the exhaust pipe.
yea I live in the desert, I wonder if that heat exchanger can be disabled, reminds me of the heat from my WV bug
