Do this in the gas AND add stabil.
Battery tender, yeppers.
Six months of non use, I’d put 39 psi in the tires.
Then Fagetaboutit
And not drain the oil while in storage? Or maybe that's a Honda storage thing?

6 months is awhile. Advice is cheap. Do like the linked list says.
  • Cover it (tarp, whatever). Clean it good before covering it.
  • Critters – mothball and mousetrap the engine bay bigtime, plug the exhaust, etc. A rag in the air intake.
  • Fuel – you want to keep moisture out, so don’t run your tank down near empty, fill your tank (with ethanol-free gas if you can, if not then add fuel stabilizer).
  • Do what you’re doing with the battery, and leaving parking brake off.
  • Tires – probably won’t have to worry about flat spots after “only” 6 months – but if it was me, would put the Mav up on stands/blocks and remove the wheels, cover exposed rotors with a couple thick trash bags. Mousetraps around each of the stands/blocks. If you leave wheels on, overfill them 15-25 psi, and mousetraps around them also.
  • Crankcase oil – if you’re ‘almost’ due for a change, change it.
  • Windshield wiper fluid - freeze protect it.

Nope but I’d damn sure have Full Synthetic in there.

Agree with Cherokee, Ethanol Free gas AND Stabil. I've had this combo in small engines for five (5) years and starts on 2nd to third pull. Battery tender Yes Sir!
