I had the continentals as well and I got 30,000 mile out of them, I could have squeezed another 1500-2000.
Exactly my experience...rears have probably 7,000 more miles to go but fronts need replacing, shopping for Michelins Defends now. Made a mistake of not rotating tires...will rotate with the new Michelins.

I found out a long time ago when I was commuting lots of miles daily that if I hypermiled, easy on, easy off the go pedal, coast, and keep my tire pressures up my tires lasted forever. Occasionally I have had a vehicle that likes to chew up tires, but for the most part tires seem to last a long time if treated right. LOL
Brakes last a long time too if you’re hypermiling and anticipating the need to slow down.

Went over 100k miles on my 1st edition Maverick and figured I should provide info. Ford wanted to change the trans fluid, replace spark plugs, all air filters, oil change, wheel alignment, and coolant drain/fill. Cost was under $1000 so I let them do it all. They found no issues with anything.

Over the 100k miles I have driven the Maverick, I have replaced the CV axles, the windshield, and the tires. Stock tires made it to almost 90k with zero flats. CV axles were replaced by Ford with the new stock number axles and a warranty. The truck gets 38+ mpg highway and up to 53 in city. I plan to put another 100k on it over the next 3 years. Will report any maintenance needed.

Love my truck!
I have had no issues with any Ford I've owned which has been all F150's before the Mav. I remember trading one in and they looked at the 900K+ km (550K Miles)on the odometer and said this truck is worth nothing. I said it should be worth $600 for marketing. He laughed and said OK. Bought another F150.

My Mav is my tenth Ford.
All taken past 100,000 miles. A few way way past, mid three’s , Never a problem.
my Fords:
81 Escort wagon, with faux wood panels, drove from 80k to 110k, sold it on running well
82 Econoline, took it to 250k, one transmission rebuild which was mostly my fault for towing in 4th (4sp manual), still running well when donated
04 Sport Trac, at 188k now and going strong

so not as many as you, but similar experience - my Fords treated me well, hoping the Mav will be another.
Under $1000 for that service seems a good price to me..

first backpack trip out of the Mav, up to Timber Lake at 11200ft. Then drove the Mav over the Trail Ridge road at 12 000ft.. good trip.

Thank you. What is your expectations for the hybrid battery?
Did you or is it possible to get battery expectations left at a 100,000.
I image you looked at battery cost for replacement, recondition vs. new. Imagine what cost?
thanks again for your report

100,000 miles is nothing.
Just a little past broken in, really.
The batteries are warranted for 100,000 miles.
Not pro-rated. You get a free replacement at 99,999.

What manufacturer is going to risk cutting that warranty close?

200k easy.
350k possible.

But other stuff could wear out before the battery pack. The other stuff worries me more.

my transaxles were just replaced at 30,000 miles and my ICE is part of the long block recall and, supposedly, can fail at anytime. a guy on here said his went at 39000 miles no noise no knock no warning, limp mode a month in the shop and a new motor.

but i mostly agree it’s the electronics that are sure to have problems long term. ask anyone with a ten year old german car.

How do you feel about the Mav v Sport trac? I always wanted one but never happened, had an Escape donated to me, then bought another, then into the Mav.

Have always felt that the Mav was the true revival of the Sport trac

The hybrid-specific components such as the battery are warranted for 8/100k, and I fully expect the battery to go to at least 300k. At that point I can pick up a battery in the junkyard off a wreck for a couple of hundred bucks. I'm expecting that other hybrid-specific parts will need replacements by then, such as the questionably-designed heat exchanger in the exhaust pipe.

same size, within a few inches all around..
agree, feels like I've just replaced my old truck basically. The Mav is much quicker and more powerful tho, which is odd considering the Sport Trac was 210hp, even combining the electric and IC engines the Mav doesn't have as many horses.
Miss the V6 growl a bit I confess.

Electrics (even partial electrics) have more Zoom-Zoom.

NIce. At this point have you purchased an extended warranty? Maybe not worth the expense?
