What are the odds that Ford just cancels the rest of the MY22 orders.

That they've already issued VINs for? Not likely.

Everyone should keep in mind that this is scheduling that is being pushed to next week (or further). It doesn't mean Ford will also push production of the 2023 model year to a future start week. Will they push production? Maybe. But they could also still schedule for production the week of 11/14 next week or the next, or the next.

I knew there would be a wait. so I guess i'll be waiting a little longer.
At this rate my Maverick will be here past all the snow & winter 2022-23 weather at least.
I feel worse for everyone waiting for their 2022's than me having zero clue when my 2023 will get built.

22 production will likely continue into December. I’d look for 23 production to begin after the winter shutdown in early January.

"No scheduling for you; one year!" LOL, being an 11/4/21 order never built and pushed to a '23, I'll be surprised if I get my truck before 11/4/23

Got my vin, production dates keep shifting farther out, latest production date is November 14th, so heaven knows when the 23 lines will really start!

It was not likely many folks were getting a 23 Maverick before spring anyway. The average wait time on these trucks is a year — figure 8-14 months and if it turns out to be anything less than that you beat the odds big time.

I've been waiting since November '21. Interest rates rising and my step daughter needing a car means I can't wait 8-14 months for Ford to get their head out of their ass and figure this out.

Given the MY22 extensions, it makes sense. I'm not sure how the process works but I wonder if Ford will go back to the same batch they previewed this week or will change it up when they start again. Could very well be the sheer number of orders have complicated things a bit.

Last year my Hybrid Maverick was built on 11/29, shipped on 11/30 and delivered on 12/13.

I just hope they dont start half ass building them to stack up in a field somewhere until they get all the parts.

I do not think my 2022 will be built until the spring.
I am happy to know it will be built in Mexico because if it gets built sooner and sits over winter, I do not have too worry about it rusting away.

It seems to me there is a disparity between Hybrid and EB orders as far as delivery times goes!
But if the first 23's start delivering on 3-21-23, that's only 3 months and 3 weeks(111 Days)from a presumed 12-1-22 build start date!
I can live with that, assuming my EB XLT FX4 has had the COVP(price protection) completed!
