Road trip to Kansas City for great granddaughters baptism. 11 hours each way from The Woodlands. 33.2 mpg going and about 25 coming back, 28.6 average for the trip. Very strong head wind all the way back. Makes a big difference. 70-80 most of the trip. Now have joined the over 10,000 mile club.

Lucky me at 6am i had a semi decide to change lanes while i was in his blind spot front tire swipped the side ... could have been worse!

Removed all fender liners, underbody panels, spare tire. undercoated spare tire wheel, painted all welds and clamps on exhaust with Eastwood exhaust paint, covered all electrical connections with tin foil to protect from undercoating, Will spray undercoat tomorrow with my home brew of bar oil, linseed oil and kerosene for thinning.

today I got the front sides tinted to match factory

also added the tailgate assist.

That's the same color and model coming my way. I'm going to do my windows just like you plus the spray in liner when I get it plus I have the piston for the tailgate. Thanks for posting what my truck will look like its beautiful and I'm excited. Should have in about 2 weeks... Enjoy your new maverick.
