  1. P237 Code on Hybrid (Turbo Boost Sensor)?

Heat exchanger. My CEL came on in February for that code. Been in and out of two different Ford service centers for them to narrow down the problem. Now still waiting on the part to be delivered 2 months later.
  2. Anyone else had to replace PCM module?

i’m at a second dealership to try to figure out what is wrong with my 1st Ed. Error codes P237C and P237D. General thoughts on the problem through the forums is the PCM or the EGR needs to be replaced. And of course there are no parts to be found.
  3. Beware: Heat Exchanger not covered under warranty

You can always look into the lemon laws in your state.
  4. Kept for heat exchanger?

My new exhaust part is on back order. Same problem with the heat exchanger. I didn’t want to run around in their loaner so I picked my Mav back up. if the parts are back ordered until May then I will have to turn the truck back in cause it won’t pass inspection until that CEL is resolved… so I...
  5. Help with P237C code?

Well it was covered. Technicians were confused about the error code. I think they just cleared the code and gave it back to me. Code came back with P237D code. So dropped the truck off again. side note: thought I would get my airbag recall done while they had it and they damaged the interior...
  6. Help with P237C code?

Just got the P237C code at 12k miles on a hybrid. Ford dealer/service unable to find any cause but says the CEL appears off and on when starting. This better be covered by warranty cause definitely looking like a defect.
  7. Never driven a Maverick - thoughts on competition

Test drive one of the new Escapes. That will give you a good idea on the feel. Should have the same engine and on the same platform. I traded in my older Escape for a Mav and my first impression of the Mav that it didn’t drive like a truck at all. Wife noticed too and she’s racking up the miles...
  8. Why hello there Santa Cruz! Buddies or Rivals?

The SC body shape cuts into the bed space a bit. Also the under bed storage (while very nifty) also makes the bed depth a bit shallower as well. The bigger engine in the SC cuts the fuel economy from what Mav EB are reporting. We will have to see what comes in the future with rumors of a Mav...
  9. Why hello there Santa Cruz! Buddies or Rivals?

They are claiming the Santa Cruz is a “sport adventure vehicle”. Created a whole new category for that thing. Considering the specs and options Mav is the clear winner. Santa Cruz bed is tiny. Definitely not a truck.
  10. Hybrid Cold Start Rough Idle

Had this problem with the remote start feature. Rough idle while it was warming up. Then after driving 5miles had to idle again for about 10 minutes and it started doing it again. Restarted the Mav and it stopped the behavior.
  11. Deer vs. Maverick

Good thing Mavericks come with a bed. Toss the deer in the bed and take it home with you. Should be able to get a few meals out of it.
  12. New Hybrid Owner

A new lariat at the dealer here is 15k over msrp. Expectations of the Maverick being a cheap truck out the window. it has been the best vehicle I have owned. so much versatility in an efficient compact package.
  13. Already encountering 2 issues today

The back seat latch I have to pretty much slam it for it to lock. Same here with the windows. The seals seem to fill up with water. You can press on them after rain and more will come out. Not making excuses but Mavericks are near the same MSRP as the eco sports. They are the cheapest vehicles...
  14. 🙋‍♂️ What did you do TO / WITH your Maverick today?

Dropped off for its 7500 check up. Dealer sent me a text saying they want to buy it back…
  15. Recall: 2022 Maverick Side Curtain Airbag Recall NHTSA Notice (August 8, 2022). Vehicles Affected: 64,974

I can’t find any information regarding a front airbag recall. Get something in writing from the dealership and Would definitely follow up with some authorities.
  16. Virginia Roll Call

They had a 4k up sell then their standard fees. This was back in March though when production was not as hindered.
  17. Virginia Roll Call

Someone cancelled their order when I was at Koons Woodbridge. Picked up the 1st edition hybrid by happenstance. Wife was mad when I returned with the Maverick and not the minivan I was shopping for.
  18. Maverick Lettering

I got the black raised with my pass points. Matches the trim well. Definitely complements the color and not too overpowering with shininess. Only been a month so Will see how long the stickiness lasts.
  19. ECO mode not necessary for great mpg's in Hybrid Maverick

Hybrid sport mode pretty much is engine always on mode. Much better response times, but once you are cruising not noticeable. I leave it in normal mode because too much effort to cycle through to eco. I still manage to get 60+ mpg some days on my 25mile commute. Modes are all about driving style.
  20. Solar panel mod for Hybrid Maverick?

Don’t recommend things sitting for a while. But that seems like a bit extra hassle than having a emergency jump kit on standby. More uses for the jump kit than the solar panel. More concern would be with the high voltage battery and it sitting for a while. Even with the 12v topped off would...
