I thought the numbers were 3k in September, 3k in October, 4k in November and 4k in December? So around 14k by end of year. Granted many of those would be dealer units, all of which are ecoboost, and then 65% of the rest are ecoboost. So I was guessing about 3k hybrids built by the end of the year. Of course the problem is that there may be 27k hybrid orders. I don’t think there are any really problematic production issues with the ecoboost
IIRC, dealer stock units were produced in August (not to say they wouldn't still be producing some stock units after that).

I got pushed forward one week! (After being previously pushed back two weeks).

Originally 10/4, then 10/18, now 10/11!

Had they given you a delivery date prior and if so anything on that?
My original build date was Nov 8th. I’ve never received a delivery date and assume I won’t until it is closer to build or has been built.

I knew Ford intended to start production in September and was targeting 100k units per year, or about 1900 per week. I thought that during the ramp-up they might average 1000 [per week].

Just an update on the numbers...

Looks like Ford exceeded all our expectations in September and built 5,660 units.

Hybrids? That's a different story...

Ordered back in August, and not a peep from Ford or the dealer. Would at least expect SOME communication, especially in light of the back and forth we hear in the media. Tried to call Ford Cust Service (?) this morning, and after an hour on hold, hung up. Beginning to wondr if this is like the Cybertruck..pie in the sky.

I canceled a Cybertruck and signed on for the Maverick. It became an easy decision when the wife got a new Model 3.

Congratulations! You've jumped out of the fire and into the frying pan!

Which I guess is better than the other way around... :sneaky:

yeah. Hybrid?Like i said i was hoping for spring break time.... actually getting a build in november messed up my plan for a bigger downpayment.
Yep, Hybrid. I figure the longer it takes, the better down payment I will have. Now that the holiday season goal is gone, I'm not really concerned. I'll still be like a kid on Christmas morning with my email on Thursdays though 😂

Sorry guys I have to leave the bar (I already miss Homer):). Just found out that my Wife’s Maverick is scheduled for build the 1st week of November (my dealer let me know) I ordered on July 2nd an XLT AWD with The Luxury Package, Ford360, The Moon Roof, The $175.00 Carpet Mats and a Spare Tire, in Hot Pepper Red. And when it comes in I'm gonna add the inexpensive soft roll up tonneau cover and the damper for the Tailgate from my dealer. Good luck to ALL of us:)
