Saw an eruption green Maverick today and hook'em

Shhh…. My wife is a big LSU fan.

I had my Maverick detailed before I picked it up by someone the dealer deals with and has a 7 year guarantee. I am absolutely stunned as to how clean it has stayed while driving in the snow and melting snow and rain and dirty roads. So impressive that my wife is going to get her Subaru done by them.

The son of one of my co-workers does this sort of thing on the side. He did a full ceramic coat job a few weeks after I bought my truck in June 2023, and then did a touch-up cleanup last summer.

The finish has held up very well and I would recommend a ceramic coating to everyone who wants to keep their vehicle looking sharp.

Commercial connects well with women, DIYers, the ability to get dirty and haul things, and touches on the hybrid option. The color is memorable too.

I also like the commercials running where you can get different power types with Ford...gas, hybrid, and full electric. All bases covered, unlike gm...

I debated about ordering the Eruption Green but I went with the Space White for a couple reasons. My opinion it stays cleaner looking longer than a darker color and I think the green is going to be a very popular color. I wanted something different from what everybody and their brother might order. Time will tell. The Space White is definitely different. Kind of a bluish/grayish/whitish color. Looks different depending on the light.

I find it interesting that the ad is targeting young women. Ford Marketing probably identified that as a customer group they still need to win over. Or they want the wife influencing the husband. It's definitely an ad aimed at a younger audience. An almost frenetic sound track. Nonstop motion.

Because my dealer's four (4) locations did not have a Red Pepper Hybrid XLT in stock last June, I took the Blue XLT Hybrid my salesman's mother decided not to buy. I looked into ordering the exact one, but the dealer said that it might not have gotten built by the model change over. I like the blue, but after seeing the red pepper Mav in the Florida sun, i was wishing I had ordered one. Talking with my salesman later he indicated I probably would not have gotten one due to backlogs.
I think the EG is nice, but it seems I would pass myself quite often if I had gotten it.
