My hybrid (received April 1st) has 9,000 miles on it now. I am quite fond of the vehicle and really like the 40+ mpg I get. However, the one true complaint would be the braking. It is STUPID sensitive. Too the point where I am worried that I might be rear-ended at a light when I am inching...
I experienced the same issue with trying to fit my water bottles, etc. in the door compartment. I did look at the 21 oz. Hydroflask, but after seeing the cost was able to find a very similar stainless one on Amazon for a WHOLE lot less. So far, seems to fit and work well.
Got it online, aftermarket. It was about $50 I think. Works great, until... Now works great again. It should have already been there, especially on the Lariat, But, it was easy to install.
So, you purchased the aftermarket tailgate softclose device. It works great, until it doesn't. What happens after a few months of opening and closing is that the cable starts to go behind the ball of the actuator when you close the tailgate. Then, when you go to open again it gets stuck and...
Many of us have experienced this issue. It was also discussed in another thread. At very low speed, (<5mph) the brakes will grab very hard when you try to gently come to a stop. A thud is heard many times, which sounds like the regenerative braking locking up. Nothing from Ford yet on this...
Yes, I too have this same issue. Its when you're creeping below 5mph and have to apply the brakes. Its not even possible to stop without the brakes grabbing 100% when you just barely touch them. This would be my only real complaint, but I just know its an accident waiting to happen when...
For those of you still waiting like we all did (9 months here), I will give you my thoughts if I were in your shoes. I would delete ANY Dealer Installed options/accessories. Get those after you take delivery, on your own. I have had my Maverick 2 months now and still have not received my 2...
The video is correct. He was a bit extreme but correct. To test yourself, all you have to do is drive around a parking lot (flat of course) so that it stays in electric mode fully. In about a mile (a little more when on flat ground, going slow) you will see the electric bar (if you have the...
Pretty funny, no doubt. BUT, I would demand it be replaced. Over the long haul, you'll get tired of the elephant in the room lack of quality control...
OK, "your lucky day" is just seeing a new Mav. Let's put this in perspective!
- A "good" day is seeing a new Mav. on the road for the first time.
- A "great" day is getting the email that yours is at the Dealer.
- An "amazing" day is picking it up and "not" getting F'd by the Dealer in some...
My truck was delivered to the Dealer on March 31, the last day of 0% financing. My sales rep. was off that day so I called the finance guy and left a vm saying I wanted to get that rate even if I had to pay on that day and pick up the next. He did not return my call, so when I picked up the...
Don't know if anyone else has had this problem. But I'm guessing so.
Picked up my new Mav. a month ago. When I asked about my 2 Dealer installed options (front hood wind deflector and rear bed LED lights), they looked at me like I had 4 heads. They then said they don't know where they are...
I've still got my V8 Sportrac that sounds like a boat when I need the old-school truck fix. But I find I'm continually reaching for the Mav. keys bc its so satisfying to drive with its great gas mileage and cool tech. I'm 60 and love the attention I get with this truck. Add my doodle in the...
