Every week for the past two months, I get an "URGENT! Reply immediately!" letter from Ford's warranty division, insisting that I call or click or scan the QR code to purchase their extended warranty 'before it's too late' ... and that's how you can tell what a huge money-maker extended warranties are for them. They know exactly how often they're used and what it costs them to provide one, as compared to exactly how much profit it makes for them. It's a numbers game, and the house always wins games like this one.
They won't take 'Aw, hell no' for an answer, so I just recycle the letters as they come in.

I always get these from whoever I buy vehicles from, gf gets them from nissan, I get them from Suzuki, ford, toyota etc, within a year or two they eventually quit letters and calls.

Yeah, I've gotten those extended warranty letters in the mail quite a bit, and they're never actually from the manufacturer. If you do decide to get an extended warranty, I highly suggest getting a manufacturer's warranty from a dealer (any dealer can sell you one - it doesn't need to be the one you bought the vehicle from). Getting a 3rd party warranty usually leads to lots of hassle trying to get warranty coverage, since every approval needs to through the third party warranty company and not directly through the dealer/manufacturer. There are probably some decent third-party extended warranty companies out there, but most of them have so many restrictions or limitations that it's not worth it in the end to save a few $$$ on the initial extended warranty cost, if you choose to get one.

Those are idiotic. I got my Maverick July 27th, 2024 and a month or two later I received one of those saying my warranty was expiring and sign up soon. At first I thought, damn, that's the fastest 3 years I have ever seen.

Those aren't from Ford. I used to get them for my F150. Those are made to fool you into thinking Ford sent them.

Move the message to your Junk folder. They’ll eventually get the message.

They need cash desperately, and ex warranties are money makers.

I get these all the time. Called my dealer when I got the first one. They told me it was third party. So, I trash them and move on.

Not from Ford.
