Sorry ahead of time, but I'm taking this personal now!

How are dealers going to say that the 2024 (and before) battery is "fine" now when people come in with energy saver mode all the time and a flat battery every month or so?

Dealers are just the mouthpiece of the manufacturer when it comes to service issues. If they're not forced to do a recall because of safety, they usually don't.

this correct.

the post that started that chain of discussion was talking about Desert Sand, which last year was called "Terrain" and that's the color name it debuted with, back in like 2017 or 2018 as a very unpopular optional color on the F150 Raptor. (Seriously, no one bought it back then.)

Congratulations on your new truck (nice Christmas present for you by the way) and for sharing the photos for all of us to see! In particular I am admiring the two close up photos of the engine. Hard to believe all that can be crammed in there. Sort of looks like multi colored spaghetti with all of the black, silver, and orange tubes, hoses and conduit. Enjoy it!

BAP=Black Appearance Package. I am no spring chicken either and agree all these acronyms can be confusing plus I am old school so the BAP is not one of my options and embracing technology isn't always in my comfort zone.

When I first saw the acronym I thought maybe it was a new Cardi B' song.

Question: In your '25, did they caulk the seam where the side of the bed and the bed meet?

I had a '22 EB and now a 24 hybrid. In the bed, the fact that you could see through to the pavement below always puzzled and bothered me. I caulked mine with 3M auto seam caulk but the fact the crevice was a catch-all for debris and just plain poor assembly craftsmanship bothered me. This was the case in my '22 w/o SIBL and my '24 w/SIBL so that wasn't the difference.

If I'd bought a '25 I'm sure I'd have no issue with the front end design changes from the '24. I'm still enjoying driving mine even though it's approaching a year old (already!).

I am still luvin' my '22 First Edition Area 51 Lariat. I did see the merit of changing the battery to AMG on my own dime based on this forums findings and installation instructions. Changed it out myself in October and have never had the Deep Sleep Mode ever come back - - and all the interior lights work all the time and I do not fear using the heated steering wheel and seats in Ohio's cold climate. No brainer. I also love the Space White for '25. Excellent !
