When it's cold out and heat is turned to max, does the 2024 model hybrid have the added resistance heater the other years have? The electric heater, not the regular heat from engine.
I feel that it does not have it.

I would expect it does. May depend on temperature how quickly ice can warm up to load up the generator to max power and get the HVB warm enough to pull sizable current from it or charge it. The AC will not blow air until it can at a temperature warmer than cabin. You may want to remote start for 5 or more minutes.

The 2023 manual says hybrid has electric booster heaters.

Electric Booster Heater Operation
The electric booster heater ensures that the passenger compartment can be quickly warmed up when ambient temperatures are low.
It is a heater element made up of ceramic resistors that is mounted in the climate control housing.
It directly heats the airflow into the passenger compartment rapidly in the case of low ambient temperatures.
The current is switched via three electric booster heater relays located in the BJB / BCMC.
...
Electric booster heater operating parameters:
• Engine is running
• HVAC controls have been switched to the highest temperature setting
• Engine coolant temperature is below approximately 75°C (167°F)
• Ambient air temperature is below approximately 12°C (53.6°F)
• Sufficient generator capacity is available

The electric booster heater is deactivated when an engine coolant temperature of approximately 85°C (185°F) or an ambient air temperature of approximately 15°C (59°F) is exceeded.

I wondered about that.
Thank you for clarifying that the hybrid has a "booster heater".

I should have said Factory Service Manual.
From another Maverick hybrid I see the High Temperature MCase+ 40A, 60A, 40A fuses for the PTCs on the top row.
Ford Maverick does 24 hybrid have the supplemental heater for BJB Fuses - Telemachus-1

I haven't pulled apart my hybrid's BJB to look at it.
I did on my previous 23 2.0L Ecoboost and those fuses not installed since no PTCs:

Thank you
I just looked under the hood, I don't see the fuse panel. I looked on the side near the steering wheel, and it looks like it's a panel for airbag
😮💨 It must be under rear seats. I'll look when my new AGM comes in. I need to remove car seats from the seat to open it.

It's in engine compartment.
Bit of a puzzle to open and have to make sure it reconnects correctly to bottom half.
Look in Owners Manual on how to unlatch fuse box from bottom junction box and open its lid.
I'd have to agree it's a "dufus" design.

I began opening that, and it looked like it had 3 large plugs under it. I closed it back up 😂 I'll have to dig in deeper

The large plugs are the power distribution from the "bottom" of the fuse box. You unlatch the two tabs and the whole thing flips over towards the front of the truck (this disconnects the BJB from the main power bus in the process) and remove another cover to access the fuses themselves.

Has anyone determined if the 2024 XLT hybrid has the same supplemental heater that the 23 has?

2025 service manual still shows PTC fuses in BJB, so I figure 2024 hybirds have them.

According to my 2024 manual, the under hood fuse box, fuses 4 (40A), 7 (60A) and 9 (40A) are marked "Auxiliary heater(hybrid electric vehicle)".
