Anyone with a newer eco boost experience this battery saver mode? Mine is only 6 months old and just started since it got colder.
Since you should have the AGM battery - you may just have a bad battery, unrelated to the hybrid issues.

You're a week ahead of me. Good on you.

I submitted my order on day 1. When did you submit yours?
We put down our deposit with our local dealer on Aug 2nd. Ford acknowledged our order on Aug 15th in an email. Lots of reasons that someone might be ahead or behind someone, including how fast the dealer got it in, and the extras one orders on their truck. Wish you the best on your 2025; I know we are looking forward to ours.

Good news.
Hope they are working on CV axles as well.
The 2025 has a different transmission. Not sure if the axles are different too. They might just ride it out waiting for all the warranties to expire on the 1st gen’s.

Heard the new one was on AWD, but fwd kept same one ?

It be a shame if they let it ride....

Hey 25s though new parts = new problems. Maybe not as much. We will see soon.

I hope this is the answer to your question.
I believe it is the "BSR" Battery Sensor Reset as outlined in the manual, after replacing their 12 volt battery?
Is "BSR" the same as "BMS" reset?
Necessary or not?

Slightly easier than the macarena.
Thanks, Glen. As usual, you're a fountain of information.

I was given a 2024 Mav 2.5 loner while my Edge was being repaired. I found it to be great on gas but that’s where it ends compared to my 2022 Mav 2.0. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I had a 2023 Tremor with AGM. It's voltage drifted down about 1/2 as fast as my 2022 hybrid lariat's battery did. So it saw the Noco when it dropped to 12.0-12.1 volts also.

Ford OASIS system, was posted today...I try to post the important messages...
Thank you. Much appreciated.

Filed for future reference in case I ever have in-warranty battery issues. So far, no problems.
🤞🤞

Mine 2 year old one (well Fab. Date 7/22) is still getting me by.

Always 12.4v when I park it after a long drive. Always 11.8v to 11.9v the next morning.

Weird. But not getting worse.
I noticed it in the Fall of 2022.
I reported it then with like 5000 miles.
Ford told me "no free battery as long as it starts". Well so far it has never not started.
🤷🏻‍♂️

PS I used a NOCO GENIUS 5 on it a few times. Made zero observable difference.

Now I think we got sold 11.8 v batteries.

2023 XLT hybrid . Got august 2023. First winter (last winter Buffalo NY ) Had battery warning from phone app. Eventually lost dome lights. Always started . Charged battery twice during winter. Happened once this past summer lost dome lights but got phone app a few times in summer. Charged battery once.

Had a few recalls done this past September BUT never mention battery issue

Now since I never reported to any dealer or ford directly wonder if they come up with software solution will they offer to fix mine since I never complained even though I have an issue??

Can we just turn off the telemetry to save the battery?

I have a weird question, but if I get a ton of software recalls performed at once, will that freak the truck out? I've only had 2 software updates done this far for the shudder and sensitive brakes. Will overwhelming it with like 8 software updates in a single session cause any issues?

Ford should have used an AGM battery as the stock battery on the Hybrid instead of a wet cell. Point 1 who in their right mind would put a wet cell battery under the back seat inside a car????? Yes the stock Hybrid battery is vented under the floor, but a really bad decision. The AGM battery will not out gas, and it is non-spillable. Point 2 is that the AGM (H4, 140R) battery has 50% more cold cranking amps as the wet cell OEM battery. Point 3 is that the AGM battery discharges at about 1/3 the rate as the OEM wet cell. Lastly, the software "fix" will be a tweak on charging of the 12v battery and probably to reduce functions that discharge the battery. Getting an AGM battery improves performance and safety, and that coupled with the "to be" software fix should put this issue to bed.

Totall agree with you Dundee. I drove a 2015 Prius for 7 years. The stock 12v battery was literally a golf cart battery but it lasted 5 years and never gave me an issue regarding starting up the computer. I changed it out at 5 years because 5 years is my cut off point with flooded batteries.

I might add that the battery in the Prius was getting charged with a better BMS system than the ones in our Hybrid Mavericks. AGM batteries will most likely be the norm with most cars moving forward. The on-board computer systems in the newer cars simply demand it.

The updates aren't individual patches, just updating to whatever latest build for the affected modules Ford has on their servers.
