I can’t even get my hybrid to reverse over a curb. As soon as it senses the resistance it completely cuts power to the electric motor.
As far as the battery issue, I watched some videos about the poor soldering connections on the harness going to the “high voltage” mega fuse.
I got these cause I liked the small footprint and the water tight harness. Unfortunately the lenses weren’t protected and got some scratches during shipping. Nothing major I can’t polish out...
Considering it has the same tow hitch and brakes as the 4k, I’m sure the limiting factors are the transmission and cooling system. But that probably only comes in to play going up hill or higher speeds.
Nice write up. The only thing the XLT has over the XL in my book is the power mirrors ( my wife is a foot shorter than me) and the rear armrest for my kids. Initially I went for the “best” AT tires out and got some 245/70/17 KO2s. At 47lbs a tire I’m down to 34mpg. I’m stepping down in size and...
Anyone find a fix yet? I pass the LA river in 3 different places that smell like sewage on my commute to work. I’d rather not pump that through my air vents.
So I got a call from the dealership saying my truck was ready to pickup. I asked what happened to confirming my order and that when I spoke to them in November told them I wanted to change a couple options. They said Ford was not allowing them to make any changes to the block of 14 hybrid hold...
My dealer said Hertz rental company pushed in a large order and that many 12/19 build dates won’t be made until January. I still have a 2022 vin number for my 12/19 build so we shall see. I hope I get a 2023 as I’m getting a xl and would like the cruise control added.
I have not even received mine yet and I’m already stacking parts. I should have one of the first 2023 models produced. I already received my 2022 vin but I was told that Ford let hertz snipe 150 trucks ahead of everyone who already had their orders in so I will be given “factory priority”...
