FINALLY!! An upcoming 12v battery fix for hybrids!!!

Some 2022-2024 Maverick vehicles equipped with 2.5L full hybrid electric vehicle (FHEV) powertrain may experience an intermittent 12V battery drain condition when the ignition is turned off. If the 12V battery drains, perform a 12V power reset to the vehicle by disconnecting the 12V battery negative cable for 5 minutes. Fully charge the 12V battery and use the Rotunda GRX-3590 or DCA-8000 tester to determine if replacement is needed. If replacement is needed, fully charge the new battery and perform a battery monitor sensor (BMS) reset. Engineering is currently working on a software solution for this condition that is expected in the first quarter of 2025. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available.

My truck is out of warranty Jan 2025, I hope it's a free program and I don't have to pay...

I'm doing the same thing Chuck & Scout. Since I only fill up gas every other week now, I've been putting $90/month in an investment account, so I'll have a bunch of money to apply to the new vehicle along with my equity from the '22 Maverick.

Carvana said they'd give me $24k for it with 40k miles on it; I paid $26k out the door for it. Hopefully the bottom doesn't fall out of the Maverick market before I get my '25.

Is yours scheduled to be built? If so, when?

Anyone with a newer eco boost experience this battery saver mode? Mine is only 6 months old and just started since it got colder.

Yes on my MY23, started almost immediately, deep sleep. Ford Pass told me the battery was bad and to schedule service. After talking to my dealership inside guy I held off, logged the condition with them, charged the bat, did the reset and it's been ok.
It has been rarely driven during the summer but started on command when called to last winter. Summer rides are going into storage so it'll be driven more and don't really worry about it.

I hope this is the answer to your question.
I believe it is the "BSR" Battery Sensor Reset as outlined in the manual, after replacing their 12 volt battery?
Is "BSR" the same as "BMS" reset?
Necessary or not?

When I copied and pasted, I could open the link, BUT I am authorized on the Ford network, so I was unclear it wouldn't work... Once I was made aware, I deleted the link, since I already had the expanded information...
I have has TWO battery replacements, the NEW UPGRADED battery is 470 CCA, so I will be testing before 36 months hits...Get a new battery before the software update is done...

JUST got my 1st battery replacement on my 24 Maverick.
plus new seat tracks... unrelated to the battery. Passenger side made a clicking noise. Drivers side sounded like an old rocking chair creaking when going over bumps.

Check and see what CarMax, Carvana, etc will offer. Carvana offered me $3000 more on my '22 Maverick Hybrid than the dealer did.

That's what I have been saying all along. Back in the day the alternator would charge a nearly dead battery after driving just a few miles.
