You are correct, looks like now that the Luxury Package with the Spray-in Bedliner is closed out and there is a second Luxury Package showing in WBDO (ordering system) with Drop-in Bedliner. Looks like if you order a Luxury Package now it will come with the Drop-in Bedliner instead of the Spray-in Bedliner.

This won't affect any current orders that show the Spray-in Bedliner on their order sheet. If your order sheet shows Spray-in Bedliner, that is what you will get.
Do you ever sleep?

I sent my dealer an email this morning asking them to double check my build to make sure the spray in is still on it.

Lariat Lux package ordered on 11/1/21.

I'll post the results when I hear.

I'll wait for official news before I get my torch and pitchfork out, but I would also be a little less than pleased. I haven't dropped my spray-in as I would rather Ford does it to maintain warranty control with the same place (versus if there is a problem with it taking it somewhere else) and because I prefer the look of the logo in the bed, so if I've been waiting with a constrained commodity because of that and get denied after waiting all this time, I wouldn't be happy.

My dealer in north east Florida who has Body shop capabilities on sight said to me , Leave all the options off the order except for factory installed stuff to not hold up your truck . We do the spray in bed at our body shop ,that I assume if done by a ford dealer would not void warranty . My order looks like this : Area 51, lariat AWD eco boost, 400 watt inverter, full size spare, trailer hitch , co pilot 360,spash guards frt and rear( dealer said splash guards are not a problem). Dealers concerns on my order where the cover and bed liner .We pulled them , Anyone in Florida I highly recommend Bozard,s Ford . These guys are on point no up charges $699 dealer fee ,list price of course, no BS ,I cancelled an order at another dealer after I figured out he was hustling me he left the lease acquisition fee in the MSRP and would not remove it I am a cash buyer and other BS fees . After I ordered the truck @ Bozard Ford by the time I got out in the parking lot I had a confirmation E mail from Ford. Also they had a few mavericks to look at that where being delivered .And their parts guy has a tricked out AWD on sight.

Well Darn. Good for those already ordered, but new orders, bummer. I would suggest to just get the drop in and then go and get your spray in later. I'm not really sure how the drop-in works. Is it molded to the bed and just loose or is it some how adhered to the bed? Or if you order the luxury plan, can you just eliminate the bed liner? Also the lux package has, for me, a lot to offer not just the bed liner.

I had a drop in on a Dodge Ram and the damn thing went flying out one day. Thankfully nobody was behind me but it scared the hell out of all of us. Put it back in, got some things for the dump and threw it out.

Thanks for the reassurance FordVideoGuy, I give you lots of likes-on YouTube! Last thing I want to see on my 40k Mav is a drop in liner. Heck to the no! But my signed order form has the spray in, so if it comes the way I ordered it, no matter how long that takes, I’ll be happy.

Tim did a video outlining how the purchase process worked. He stated that a signed buyer’s order was required when the dealer uploaded the order info into the ROVP.
Actually, Tim said a buyer's order is best (for you) but the dealer can do it with just a DORA and your drivers license. @huunvubu has a good post on this with the video all cued up. Check the third video in that post. And listen to more than the first few seconds because he explains the buyer's order method first and then the DORA method.

BTW, Tim also has a video suggesting the same thing I suggested -- that you go back to the dealer and actually ask them to sign a buyer's order with you and give you a signed copy. @huunvubu cued that one up too.

These posts are in your thread "Have I caught my dealer in a lie?" from a couple of weeks ago.

Didn’t sit through all the videos. Probably missed that. That’s probably what my dealer did

My order sheet didn't show the spray in - that I asked for; called them. According to my dealer they are out of the material at the factory; so adding the option will delay the heck out of it. They are just going to have it done when it arrives for the same price or cheaper.

Been reading all the comments. Has anyone gone to Maverick build and price. I just did and XLT Lux package still displays spay in bed liner?

Did the same. Got the same result as you. Wondered if I was accessing a cached web page?
OTOH, maybe Ford hasn't updated the builder yet. It's not binding so it doesn't mean anything.

First day I ordered a cactus gray XLT FX4 non-lux with the spray in liner as an option. In mid-September I dropped the spray in and the truck was scheduled for a build date the next day. It’s shipping now and hopefully will arrive in a few days.

The drop in liners are horrible. They need to remove the liner from the lux package entirely and reduce the price. A local shop will spray mine for about the same cost as the factory option. Only thing I’ll miss on the lux are heated seats and I probably can add those.

I agree with you. Just seems like when you go to buy gas and the pump price is 50 cents more than price out front.

Someone who is not paying attention goes to build and price, orders a vehicle and then gets the Oh By The Way when it arrives.

Absolutely, I didn't mean that an outdated builder is acceptable. I meant only that the fact that the builder still shows spray-in doesn't disprove Tim's (and other's) statements that it's no longer part of the package.
