Anyone else annoyed that factory size is a 19" on a truck this size? Makes finding an AT tire in that size next to impossible so if that's the route you want to go for your wheel and tire size you are stuck to a lower trim with less features or purchasing/trading for smaller wheels.

Would be nice to have an option for some other wheels of smaller size.

I do find it annoying and I plan on getting some 17" wheels for my AWD Hybrid Lariat that I will put ATs on. My goal is to weigh the factory combo and get as close as possible in weight (or less!) to try and minimize the MPG hit.

I won't go wider than 235 though.

I will be doing the same thing. Hopefully someone with a 2024 xlt has some wheels they would want to trade with some cash for my wheels.

Other wise I have found some aftermarket wheels that fit the style.im looking yo go for.

What tires are you specifically searching for? Try looking at 235/55-19's and you will find a few choices of the most popular brands.

I'm not looking to go 235. Looking to stick to 225. I also drive on dirt frequently and rough roads so the extra side wall of a 17 is beneficial.

Also annoyed. Plan on using ford pass points to pick these up.

BRONCO SPORT 17" WHEEL KIT -LOW GLOSS BLACK

In addition the ford pass points the, 15-20% rolling coupons on the ford accessories site should make it pretty affordable.

I am just moving my aftermarket wheels and tires over to my '25 when it is still at the dealer. Swap the 19s over to the '24.

The 2022 lariats had 18" wheels. When they first came out the 225/60/18 Michelin primacy were the only selection. It took about a year for after market selections to. Become available. 235's are more available as they were the small suv general size. You might check 235/60 or 65 and 18" wheels. On my 225/60/18 primacy the OEM are 1.5-2lbs lighter than the after market which have .5-1.0/32" more tread and probably a different compound and are rated 10k more miles. I am considering continental True Contact 80k tires due to weight and tread compound with single polyester belt along with $178 price for the 225. The 235 is heavier load rated and about 3lbs heavier at $210.

ETA: I wound up purchasing 225/60/R18 Continental True Contact Tour54. Really like them.

I see you are in Texas. When you move the wheels over at the dealer move your plates over also, particularly if you have months left on your plates (I think the fee is only $10 but check, you may save few bucks for unused time).

I’m annoyed in general at the ever increasing size of wheels on most all vehicles these days. They add weight and decrease the ride quality.

I have HC plates so they are definitely moving with the truck. Don't want to deal with the tax office again if I can help it.

Yeah, well add it to the list of things getting bigger and more expensive but less utilitarian.

I also hate the fact that low profile tires are normal on some vehicles. I had the 19" "sport" setup on my Escape and the ride quality was noticeably different. Not something I had ever considered before and there was still a decent amount of sidewall, but if I'm given the option of a 17" wheel vs. a 19" wheel, I'm taking the 17" all day. Even if I was lowered and going for "sport" looks, I'd still want more sidewall.
