I would love to know what the brand of roof cross bar is. That’s the piece I’m needing. Thanks.
the roof bar is the Yakima baseline system, same one that is on Ford accessory page. I only needed one so I bought it from etrailer. Yakima was sold out on their website. Easy install and super sturdy.

Did my first big haul today in the Maverick and used my new rack system as well. 1200lb of gravel and 8 - 2x4's. Rode pretty low but honestly Tow/Haul mode made it feel like no big deal. Ride is just so smooth.

Everything coming together nicely, just need my Tonneau cover to get here so I can seal up the bed when not in use.

Thread on Rack System if you're interested.

It is not, I wanted a rack that would work with a hard roll up tonneau cover, so basically discovered this combo system that is the only option for that on the market. Utilizes a bed rail with t-tracks to accept the rack, any low profile tonneau can be installed right on top. Had to cut the metal rail because they didn’t have it sized for Mav yet but pretty easy overall.

you can checkout the link in my initial post to a thread on this rack system specifically if you want to see how it works - I made some videos on how to cut the rail, install, etc...

it is adjustable though, but this is the lowest setting, so I probably will not increase the height. Best thing though is because the rack’s are in a t-track, I can slide them forward or backward or easily remove them, which is pretty great.

I'm having a hell of a time finding the baseline system on the Ford accessories page, only the add-ons. do you have a link to it?

Yeah I don't see it on the accessory site anymore. Go to Yakima website though and add the Maverick and only one option comes up for the Baseline and it has the proper clips that go with it. I went with the 70" bars, probably could be fine with 60" I just wanted to match the back rails.

Open the driver door and look for the Tire and Loading information tag.

Here is the one for my F150.

I once put 2000 lbs of copy paper in the back of a 1980 toyota pickup. I had no idea about load limits at the time for either the suspension or the tires. It squatted hard and the tires ballooned out, but somehow I managed to drive on a highway for a few miles and unload without damaging anything,

There is some wiggle room.
Yes agreed... my ‘81 Toyota “accommodated” 15 bales of horse feed alfalfa.....commonly agreed that 16 bales makes a ton out my way.
So what if the front end lifted a little on some side roads......😳😆 it made for an interesting trip ✔🇺🇸

Not all of them are 1500.
Lots of posts on here in the 1300-1400 pound range depending accessories.
From the pictures this truck is likely in this range.
And payload isn’t just what you consider cargo, it includes everything not on the truck as delivered.
So depending his weight, how many passengers he had (and their weight), what else was in the cab, how much fuel in the tank and the weight of all those racks it is possible it is overweighted, but also could be well within (although I can’t add it up under a reasonable limit).
A scale ticket would provide the final say.
And don't forget about all that dirt and extra air in the tires.

I'm looking to do the same (when I get my Mav) tonnneau + Adjustable Bed Rack system. I would love to see how you do / did this when complete. Mine will come with the soft folding tonneau and I will use it for a while, but in the end I want either the hard roll-up or Tri-fold.

This guy knows what’s up. Gotta keep that receipt if you really wanna save big money. 😂
I climbed modestly high up their corporate ladder in a previous life, the least I can do is remember the slogan :p

Thanks for the first hand account btw.

I've carried that much in my Buick Lucerne. As long as you're careful and don't imagine you're in NASCAR, it can handle the short drive.

I suspect that 5 "average" Americans with their seatbelts on would put it over the limit. ;);)
My God - I think you are right!

I once put 3600lbs of bagged river cobble in a Dodge Caravan (tradesman model with 1 ton capacity). It was bottomed out on its suspension, but made it home fine. It's got 130,000 more miles on it and still running strong with zero issues.
