I just picked up my new Ford Maverick Lariat Lux 2022 with tow package after waiting one year and one week. I absolutely love it!
But I am having a problem securely hooking up my ebike rack into the 2” hitch receiver on my new Maverick.
I have a Swagman ebike rack. It fits perfectly into the 2” hitch receiver on my wife’s 2019 Jeep Cherokee Limited. In sliding the stinger on the ebike rack into the 2” hitch on the Maverick however, it only goes about half way in (to line up holes on receiver and stinger on ebike rack.) It’s like the holes on the Maverick hitch need to be closer to the front of the Maverick in order to slide the bike rack stinger in far enough to be secure.
Anybody experience this and have a fix?
Thanks.
