  1. What the heck is this?!

I’m not sure why you’re trying to catch me in a lie when one doesn’t exist, but I’ll make it simple for you with pictures. Here is the specific product I used:
  2. What the heck is this?!

Since this is primarily being seen on just airbag covers I would lean more towards the materials and manufacturing used that relate to their performance when the airbag is deployed from a safer perspective. Maybe this part has to be lighter than typical plastic? Maybe it’s more flame retardant? Etc.
  3. What the heck is this?!

Thank you for sharing your experience with us in a well thought out response that directly relates to my issue. I truly appreciate it.
  4. What the heck is this?!

Your distrust is misplaced and speaks more to your projecting dishonesty onto me.
  5. What the heck is this?!

Well, that’s an even more disturbing issue. First, why would I fabricate this issue and post about it? And, secondly, why would someone automatically assume I’m lying about the facts? There is no financial gain to be had surrounding this issue. The reason I made this post was purely in trying...
  6. What the heck is this?!

Nope, in the truck I listen to other pastors sermons to get my material for my next sermon! (I’m joking, of course)
  7. What the heck is this?!

Thank you all for the replies. Some of you have good reading comprehension, others I fear have been failed by our public school education. As originally stated, the truck is over a year old and it never had anything applied to the steering wheel. Heck, I don’t even touch the airbag cover with...
  8. What the heck is this?!

Nope, not a single cleaner of any kind has been used on this. The vehicle has been in my possession and control since it was backed off of the delivery truck at the dealer.
  9. What the heck is this?!

As the title says… “What the heck is this?!” I got in my truck today and it looks like the plastic on the steering wheel (just the center piece) in my Mav aged 15 years overnight! To be clear, this plastic, like the rest of the interior, looked fantastic yesterday. The truck is a year old and...
  10. Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) FORScan mod (confirmed working)

Anyone find a way yet to get square signs on the 6 inch screen that isn’t a Lariat with Sync 3?
  11. Lane Keeping System retrofit install using FORScan (on all trims without Copilot 360)

Thank you for the work put into this. It took me about 15 minutes to install the stalk and turn on the proper codes in Forscan. Seems like this would have been better for Ford to include this on all packages and let the marketing people play up the added safety features. The cost between the...
  12. Weathertech Mud Flaps available in 2-4 weeks

It’s now the end of September and still no Weathertech Mudflaps. What gives?
  13. Eco and sport mode

Forscan is free, so if you own a computer you have access to it.
  14. In grille light bar install

In most states there is a limit to the amount of white lights that can face forward while on roadways. Many of these are limited to four.
  15. Rear LED light bar recommendations?

Thank you for providing this. What does it mean by right and left connector?
  16. [UPDATE] Forscan Mod: Enable 12v Outlets Always Hot or Change Delay Variable

This is exactly why I didn’t worry about changing the time to 10 hours.
  17. [UPDATE] Forscan Mod: Enable 12v Outlets Always Hot or Change Delay Variable

This wasn't my experience. Both external pigtails stay on for the 10 hours I set them.
  18. [UPDATE] Forscan Mod: Enable 12v Outlets Always Hot or Change Delay Variable

My apologies for not updating this post. First, yes, this Forscan mod applies to the 12v Bed Outlets in addition to all of the interior power outlets (12v & USB/USB-C). Second, I ran my strobe lights for several hours and never dropped below 12.4 or 12.5 volts on the battery. Hope this helps.
