The hybrid FWD can be flat towed easily. That's been the feature since day one. You'll want to visit the thread headed up by @BradnChristine who did extensive research and testing to determine the best equipment to flat tow the hybrid. Now, the AWD hybrid might be another story as it's new member to the Maverick line-up.

In 2025 the only Hybrid option is 4WD.

Did you try the configurator before spitting that mistruth or did you think if you said it with enough conviction people would believe it?

Ford does not offer the Maverick in 4WD. Maverick comes in FWD and AWD.

Hybrid is not AWD only.

I would think so BUT wait on official documentation from Ford, not some magazine, newsprint, etc. It's not uncommon for things like this to get retracted once the facts are realized. The world is full of assumptions, misunderstandings.

I have my 24 Lariat Hybrid setup to flat tow using the Demco baseplate. But it would be cool to see the new 25 Lariat Hybrid in AWD plus 4K tow with that ability. Just wondering how long customers will be waiting on the base plate manufacturers to catch up to the 25 MY. The other concern is the price. I built out a 25 Lariat Hybrid in that new green color with the same options as my 24 with the addition of AWD and 4K tow and it priced out at over 40K. And that is before sales tax or destination charges. That is a lot of cash for a small pickup. I ended up getting 3K off MSRP on my 23-24 order but even that was a lot of cash.

If you noticed, Ford dropped the ACC to right in the middle of where the Demco Baseplate goes for the 2025. I do wonder if the rest of the "innards" of the fascia area is the same...and then the XL or XLTs without the ACC unit *might* be able to use the existing baseplate. It will probably be Spring before anyone gets a 2025 fascia off to check dimensions, and probably another 6-12 months before Demco comes up with a baseplate. Glad I didn't wait.

We did find out that Flat towing is capable with a AWD Hybrid. When we got our information from our contact, the engineers were not sure about flat towing so they answered No. that has since been updated and they tested it out and confirmed that you can indeed tow with AWD Hybrid.

The problem still remains, as pointed out by @BradnChristine, whether the baseplate manufacturers have a design for the 2025 models.

Demco is the manufacturer of choice for the 2022-24 Mavericks thanks to @BradnChristine virtually helping them with the design and installation process.
I purchased my 22 with the intent of flat-towing, but we no longer have plans for lengthy trips and the hybrid gets such good mileage it seems a bit of a nuisance to hook up for short (under 200 mile trips). Plus, in 2022, no one had a base plate available for the Maverick. I may do so in the future, but the equipment needed for towing is expensive.

You might try using the 2025 configurator, not the 2024...
