Diode Dynamics fog light kit plus Demco Flat tow plate - not currently possible

In case anyone else thinks about knocking out both of these installs while the front clip is off like I just did, it doesn't work with the current trim plate.

If Diode Dynamics modifys the trim by moving the lights closer to the out edge it would clear and these would work together. As it is, the fog light does not clear the ends of the Demco flat tow plate.

I'll post pictures once Google decides to back them up from my phone.

Really sorry that didn't work out together. The 2025 Mavericks are going to have a whole 'nother set of issues. Especially with the Lariat moving the ACC unit smack where the Demco goes. Sure would be simpler if Ford offered its own baseplate/light package.

I had the same issue with the Roadmaster baseplate. There’s not enough room.

Please share your install details. I think someone needs to design and 3d print some short of backing mount behind the light to the bumper so the light can point straight ahead.

Yes they do not point straight ahead, but I'm using wide/fog lenses so it just increases the width of the beams to either side and a little less overlap straight ahead. This would not work for a narrow beam pattern.

The "repair" plates I used still have the outer edge scooped out like the factory has. I wish they had the diagonal pattern all the way across, or better would be if someone could create their own plate with part of it angled correctly

Seems they also come in carbon fiber which is pretty close to black. Did they not have that option when you first posted?

Longer lead time and since I wanted it to look closer to stock anyway, the color didn't matter too much.

Understood. Paint job it is, then. Side note: Not sure how much of a market there is for the chrome look offered.

I have contacted Diode Dynamics to see if they are aware of the base plate interference issue.

I have the Demco base plate already installed and towing behind the RV was a primary requirement when purchasing the Maverick so the fog lights will have to wait.

Since the Hybrid Maverick seems to be a popular towed vehicle I am hopeful that they will see a large enough market to design a new housing for them.

I had planned to do the complete install with the F-150 Hybrid headlight switch. I have the switch and the light kit and still waiting on the harness wire to use the BCM install method. I can return the light kit is a solution isn't readily available but the switch and wire will likely be added to my future project collection of parts.
