This is good to know. The hybrid drivetrain is already guaranteed for 10k miles already, isn't it? Did the article say if this issue is with the '22s and 23's? I ordered a hybrid in '21, got converted to a '23 and have had zero issues. Of Course, it would be a lot better if it just didn't blow up in the first place.I just read in the internet that Ford will replace the engine block on hybrids that have the problem of catching fire due to the crankshaft bearing chafing. Fords coverage for this is a 1 time replacement 10 years, or 100K miles. This is transferable to the next owner, so you can garantee the next owner if the truck blows up, Ford will replace the engine at no cost!
