Hello Everyone, I stopped by my dealer today to check out the Family and Friends deal. The salesperson told me that Ford has put a Hold on building any new Mavericks. This might last until August. It might have something to do with the Rear Camera issue? The salesperson said he could write...

  3. Get ready for your insurance to go up in price [ADMIN WARNING: POSTING POLITICS = WARN/BAN]

Your insurance will really jump over the next year, thanks to the Fires in California, Floods in the Carolinas and because costs are rising. My Home and Auto insurance jumped up 13% for 2025. I shopped around and the prices were not any cheaper unless I wanted a higher deductible or less...
  4. My first mod that should be standard on Mavericks - tailgate assist strut / shock

Adding the Strut was one of my first mods to my 22 Maverick. I added the strut because when other people open the tailgate they just let it drop. Before installing the strut, my son opened the tailgate and just let it drop. I said no more of that... It was an easy install and my son does not...

  8. My Hybrid MPG over 1,255 miles

I ran an errand on my lunch today. On the way to there I was in ECO mode. I drove 8.2 miles total 4.1 on Electric for 41mpg. On the way back, I left it in standard mode, drove 8.3 miles total, 4.9 on Electric for 51.4mpg. Only thing I could think of for the difference was the car was warmer...
  9. My Hybrid MPG over 1,255 miles

Hey Maverick2112, I tend to drive mostly in standard mode. Too be honest, I forget we can change the driving mode. I have tried the Eco mode on occasion just to see if I can get better gas milage. But I do not see much difference. I just try not to accelerate to hard from lights and drive a...
  10. My Hybrid MPG over 1,255 miles

Thanks for the info Gunny, good to hear that when you hit Zero you still have more miles to drive. I will try to push for more milage next summer. I do not like to have an empty tank all the time in the Winter cold.
  11. My Hybrid MPG over 1,255 miles

Great Milage Gunny. I try to drive like you, no lead footing. The Temps are getting cold here in Michigan, but I was able to get another 500 miles plus on one tank of gas.
