I don’t think it’s as bad as when I first saw it. With that said I think the biggest issue is it looks like that part it’s just stuck onto the bumper. If they blended it in I think it would look much better.

We got a great look at another Ford Maverick prototype, currently suspected to be the new Lobo package trademarked by Ford. This particular Maverick shows off an all-new vertically-slatted grille, flanked by the new headlights that are part of the Maverick’s mid-cycle facelift.

Once again, we see a new front bumper design, with newly integrated fog lights. We see more body-colored trim—all painted gloss black here—but the bed rails are still in unpainted black plastic on particular prototype. Our earlier look at this particular Maverick configuration captured a blue prototype, with matching blue-painted bed rails.

Ugly,Ugly, Ugly front end! Those wheels?? Take the steelies over those any day.

IMHO... What's wrong with the wheels is that they aren't wide enough. Not sure how wide you can get on the current platform though, the Escape and Bronco Sport have the same problem. I'm getting used to the front end, but as others have said, the black makes it look a little better. I wish they'd get the 'media event' out to reveal all the changes. There's been too many model years of the Maverick where the customers don't get a full picture of what it is, and how you can order it; at least before the order books open. It's still a hot model on the market though.

I have had a 24 on order since August, hoping it will roll over to a 25 so I can order this (with some optional wheels I hope). The fog lights are a must for me. Looks like it is a option on the Lariat as the Tremor is, since it still says Lariat on the side.

I think Ford did a good job with the Mach-e. That's more what I'm thinking. Similar platform also.

turbofan wheels are not for everyone, if this is an option that you can choose or not choose then I have no problem with them existing.

My primary objection to these turbofan wheels is that they are too reflective - partly a function of the paint color being black partly being high-gloss. I have appreciated the style more when I have seen it on race/rally style cars in white and a semi-gloss finish, sometimes with engraved lettering to break up the shape.

I also prefer a mix of colors and finishes, this 100% murdered out black truck is not for me - but I’m not mad about it.

I'm looking forward to all the threads a year from now where guys retrofit the 2024 lights and grille into the 2025.

I actually asked the dealer when I went in to order a 24 (when the blue 25 was spied) if the 24 front would bolt onto the 25 In case my 24 wasn't going to be built and I'd get stuck with a 25 In the end I took no chances and found a 24 tremor 300 miles away and bought it.

I’m really surprised no one recognizes those wheels as a mass consumer knockoff of the turbo fans on the award-winning SEMA Maverick. I really like them, thinking about what they were trying to mimic.

The frontend is an uncohesive mess. If Ford is lacking ideas, they really need to tap into the student bodies of design schools. They should be ashamed of this result.
