I've found that at least the back seat 12v plug charges devices while the car is off. There have been a couple of times when I have returned to the car to find my kid's tablet fully charged after having been dead in the short drive I took earlier. I like it.

My 2023 Maverick Hybrid recall fixed my 12v bed pigtail issue. I installed bed lights and connected them via the pigtail wire assembly that was inserted into the glove box. The bed lights lights worked fine and stayed on for about 45 minutes after I turned off the truck. Then after about a month they would only come on if the key was in the ON position. That was very frustrating. The dealer was no help. This latest recall is my third to do computer updates and dealt with a taillight issue. I just checked and the bed lights are working with no key on. 😎
I hope you mean that it just stays working longer than the 45 minutes, that would be a great surprise! 😂

Had a strange thing happen today. Right after making a turn the radio made a loud static sound, then did it a second time. I turned the radio off and on and it worked normally. A few minutes later I noticed the clock was wrong and needed resetting. I think the two things happened at the same time and I didn't notice the clock until later. I had the recall on the lights done about a month ago. I wonder if this had anything to do with the recall I had done?

Basically, if you are an early adopter of any software fix, you are essentially volunteering to be a test pilot. After three decades in software engineering, I don't test pilot for any OEM unless I get paid for it.

I have noticed my engine kicks on more often now and I thought that wld help with deep sleep, but I got a deep sleep warning 2 weeks after all updates.
I am learning to live with the deep sleep issue. As long as my truck isn't totally dead (I have a jumper at the ready), I'm good. It seems that even with a brand new AGM size 47 680 CCA H5 Battery, this truck still likes to take its naps. One sleep notification happen a day after the tailight recall......................and a two hour freeway drive at 65mph!!

But I have noticed the following thing:

Last Saturday, I drove to my local Homedepot to pick up paint for a day long project. Got back, parked the truck. Locked it and started in on my project. The key fob was in the house. My project had me working outside all day. An hour after I had parked, the truck was clicking and clacking. Two hours later, still clicking and clacking. Not all the time, just every 20 minutes or so. Finally after 4 hours, the clacking stopped and I got the dreaded "sleep" message on my app. I ignored the message.

Had to go run some errands about 6 hours after my initial shutdown. Clicked the key fob, no cab lights or dome lights, but I was able to start the truck and run my errands. Drove back home and parked it for the night. Next morning, had to make another trip to HomeDepot. Went out to my truck, clicked the key fob and both dome and cab lights worked. Truck started no problem.

It appears that the truck does a heck of a lot of communication with the Ford App being activated. Some of you have pulled the HAL 9000 fuse and shut the app down (and your trucks sang "Daisy" as it slowly shut down, see 2001 A Space Odessey to get this reference). By doing this, the truck doesn't have this 2 to 4 hour communication dance with the Ford Cloud in the sky.

So, for now, I will live with this. I will wait until there is a local Maverick meet-up here in SoCal and have a fellow Maverick person do the Forscan thing on my truck and bump the charge level to 95%.

Anybody else had problems with the radio making a loud static noise? Wondering if I should take it to the dealer or just wait and see if it does it again? It's been doing good until today.

My bed 12 power only works with the Key turned to Acc or on position. It was staying on after the recall just fine but, 1 week later it only supplies power if the key is in the ACC or On position. Strange! Any ideas on how to get it back to staying on for 45 min after the truck is truned off without the key inserted. The battery is at 12.2V which should be fine.

I wld like to also report I’m still on the same tank of gas from when I did all the recalls. According to the mileage I have 70 miles to go with abt 560 miles driven. This will be my best MPG since owning. Don’t know if it’s weather (90s-100+ degrees), it’s from the update or just a fluke.

With Hybrids, warmer weather makes a drastic positive difference in mpg. Enjoy!

Have them replace your 12v battery to fix issue

They won’t replace battery in my area. They said it’s perfectly normal and I’m driving it wrong.

After the dealer replaced my 12V battery - all of my deep sleep issues stopped.

Just had this happen to me this morning. Had all recalls done on June 1st. 🤦‍♂️
Any update on your situation?

Another fun reduced power malfunction yesterday - Now mentioning low boost levels - Was towing a 2300 LB trailer on 91 octane.
