My 2023 Maverick Hybrid recall fixed my 12v bed pigtail issue. I installed bed lights and connected them via the pigtail wire assembly that was inserted into the glove box. The bed lights lights worked fine and stayed on for about 45 minutes after I turned off the truck. Then after about a month they would only come on if the key was in the ON position. That was very frustrating. The dealer was no help. This latest recall is my third to do computer updates and dealt with a taillight issue. I just checked and the bed lights are working with no key on. 😎
If it's the same circuit as the power port (cigarette lighter), it depends on the state of charge of the battery as to how long it stays active.

I did the update on my 24XL this week, now I see an oil change % under the menu. I don't think it was there before.;)

yes and no.

the battery monitoring system can put it to sleep quickly - basically off - but the behavior definitely is configurable in the BCM and we can change it via Forscan.

I do not know if the OP's dealership intentionally changed anything or if this is just a new default setting applied to his truck.

The last computer update/recall I had increased my mpg by about 3. I was averaging 48 mpg, and now I'm averaging 51 mpg. Maybe there's hope for me getting to the 700 mile club after all.
700 mile club? Mile high Club for me! for those of you not TOO old...

My went to zero active after one moth of ownership, in March 2023. All good still on day two of the recall being completed.

I’ve noticed my mpg are a bit higher. But the originally it always over estimated my mileage so we will see when I do a fill up.

Very encouraging.
My A.S.S. likes to shut the engine down for 0.5 seconds every time I stop at a stop sign (most of the traffic control I experience daily).
I turn that off every time I drive. Hate that feature. Hate it.

Agreed, I disabled mine with Forscan and now I don't have to deal with it. That and the seat belt warnings that make you push the okay button several times.

You can just eliminate those with forscan as well?

Hybrids get full synthetic, not the blend.
The invoice shows they put in XO-0W20-BFS full synthetic oil.

The mention of synthetic blend is language used for a free first oil change. They put in full synthetic at no extra charge.

I got 3 pending recall and not planning to do them - my truck works perfectly right now, why would I bother with software upgrade that could cause havoc ?
Because one of these recalls pertains to the 12v system sensing a perceived low voltage situation and the whole ECU can freak out and can put you into Limp/Reduced power mode which can be seriously bad.
