In all seriousness, the only other Ford I have lusted after in recent history is a GT350. I am not sure you could tow it even with the 4K package, but man you would get the engine sound your Mav won't ever deliver.

By the way you can haul a gt 350 with the maverick. It’s over the 4k with trailer but seems fine to me.
And I would second a gt350.

I really like the Evora. My buddy has one, and he has spun a bearing, but he tracks it (he's a professional driver) at a high level. I believe it's just a Toyota V6 in it? I didn't think much about the car, or really even knew it existed before he bought it. Since spending some time with it, I came around to really liking it. I like the simple things like that it uses the same front and rear control arms.

I toy with what cars I might want next... I was looking at C7's for a bit, considered a C8, and then was introduced to a 9k mile Saturn Sky Redline and bought it on impulse. I actually love the car. And of course, I took straight to changing a few things and using it as it's meant to be used.

I've had this car for a little over a decade. It's changed a little since this picture was taken a few years ago. I don't know if I can get rid of it. The white M3 on the right belongs to the guy with the Evora.

We've currently got 7 vehicles, some RZR's, and a tractor (which is one of my better purchases). I hope one day I can feel like I will be fine with just two vehicles. One day...

Not today though!!!

If I had room in the budget for a second vehicle, I'd add a nice motorcycle or maybe a ND3 Miata. Affordable, modern, unique experience, and could fit in the garage.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, lots of good suggestions. I was actually at a car show today, and saw one of these. They're extremely expensive if you find a rare one in museum condition, but rougher examples I've seen go for 30 grand

This is the awesome thing about the Maverick. It checks all the practical boxes on its own. This allows a 2nd car to be anything you want.

I mean depending on how you build it, a Maverivck can easily outperform any modern sports car. Several companies make very god suspensions for them, as for engines take your pick. Big block Ford, Godzilla, Windsor stroker, Ecoboost. Couple companies make fiberglass for it too. Lots of options.

I've been thinking about this for months now. Car enthusiasts are always thinking about what comes next. I have the maverick, that's my go to, does everything car. It's comfortable, reliable, fuel efficient, can haul whatever I need, etc.

But I'm thinking of what car to park alongside it. As most of the people on these forums are car enthusiasts, I want their feedback on this. Right now, I'm thinking of one of these once they depreciate more in a few years, or an s650 mustang. They're apparently far more reliable than most used mid engine exotics, and I think they're the best looking car lotus ever made. I'm trying to have the most varied ownership experience I can with as few cars as possible.

I don't know, brainstorm some ideas with me.

YES, on this Lotus, I am a poor office worker and my 2nd is a Mazda Miata, so enjoy and I GET it!!!!!!
