Mine is showing (See below)…

I refuse to let the truck dictate when I need to drive and for how long!

it’s going in for the latest recall on Monday so I will warn them to follow the SOP and connect the battery to an external power source while they update the BCM! Maybe they can test the battery before they start so I can start the documentation of battery issues after only 2 months.

I get the same screen with the new app. My vehicle is always in deep sleep mode. Sometimes it only takes 10 minutes to go to deep sleep. That is after 17 miles on my drive to work!

The old app at least showed tire pressure, oil life, location, etc. Even when the vehicle was in deep sleep mode.

Yesterday, the new app allowed me to revert to the old app. It had a survey as to my opinion of the new changes. Rated all as disappointed. Had the old app and it worked fine, even when the vehicle was in deep sleep mode.

Today, I checked the app and it was the new one. Uninstalled the new app, downloaded the Pass app via. Google Play... and it is the new app. Not surprised. I'm probably going to uninstall the app, it's pretty useless. I haven't had a chance to see how it is, when my vehicle is not sleepy.

@Ford Motor Company is there any way to download the old app?

Did you all get a new look to your Ford Pass app? Mine changed quite a bit. Looks like you slide to turn on instead of push to start?
Seems that the "location" has some bugs too. I stopped at my dealership and they had not seen the new app yet.

My app updated and is working great - with my '23 Maverick. However, since the update, it only sort-of works with my '17 Escape Titanium. I can lock and unlock the doors, but it *always* shows that the car has been remote started, with shutoff in 10 minutes from when I opened the app. If I slide the button left to shutoff the vehicle, I get the activity indicator spinning for a few then it slides back to the right and a message pops up that "The vehicle cannot be shutoff right now", or something along those lines, and the shutoff clock resets. BTW - the vehicle is not on. Parked, but not running.

When I have time, I'm going to try and call someone for support, but you know how that's gonna work out...

Lots of user error going on here it seems.
I updated Thursday when it offered me and have had no issues since. I think the slide and tap interface is more intuitive then pressing and holding. No issues seeing my vehicle health, service records, tire pressure.
Hard to change a closed minds I guess.
If you can’t figure out how to go back and you hate it that much, google how to revert app revisions. It’s not rocket science.

How do you get user error in an app you literally open up and see status and feedback data updated and saved on a ford server. If the app or the server give you incorrect info it has nothing to do with the user? Both apps give you little to nothing if your truck is in deep sleep. I have had the new app tell me twice that my hybrid was running after being parked for hours. The first time I thought maybe I left it in ready mode... it wasn't!

Why can you not see recall notices through the app? It’s available online under maintenance but not in the app.
I can see mine in the app under Recalls. Maybe the tab is missing if you have no outstanding recalls.

I have not taken a survey, but it may be that more hybrid are having owners having issues... No deep sleep on Ecoboosts, so maybe less chance of the app getting scrambled.

New version absolutely sucks. My recalls which I had performed are still showing.
My recall is not showing in the app, but is showing for my truck at ford.ca

The thing is when I switched back to the old app after it happened the old app had the correct status “Parked”. I assume both apps get the data from the same server. I was not having battery issues at that time.

23 hybrid Lariat/ IPhone 13. New app is working perfect. I do prefer the slide to start and that’s about the only change that I’ve noticed that matters to me.
