XLT,4k,AWD. 14,000 miles. Well, not one issue,no interior plastic scratches,no chipped windshields,no leaks,no brake or engine problems.tires look like new ( I never rotate) oil changed at Ford's recommendation of 5000 miles. Did have the 2 software update recalls .very happy with the truck.hoping to get at least 15 years out of it like my ram, which I hope to get 20 years out of .time will tell!

My XLTremor, has been pretty trouble free. Had to reset the screen a time or 2, and Im a rough guy and we have dogs so we have some interior scratches, plus a nail in a tire while shipping. Other than that, its been a no issue truck. Just the way it should be.

I firmly believe this is the experience of 95% of owners. It's just being in forums, the issues are forced in your face. It's kind of like how society is generally safer and more moral than it's ever been in human history. Yet older people are clutching their pearls thinking the world is ending because media outlets are talking about negative things more.

Cars are getting more reliable, but it's really easy to learn about people having issues these days. Back in let's say the 80s, cars were lasting a fraction of the time, and having way more issues, but your neighbor could be having engine issues, and you wouldn't know it. These days, you can read about someone halfway across the world having issues.

18 months, no issues. Lots of recalls but I have not done them yet. Will do them later this summer once I am sure they are confirmed to be working. I love my Maverick.

Just curious, but why don't you rotate your tires?
Have never saw a need to,maybe all my vehicles have had good suspensions/ alignment. All 4 tires always look the same,so it would be a waste of time and money, for me anyway.

Reminds me of something I learned in college years ago...."a little bit of knowledge can be a very dangerous thing"

Maverick #2 - 33,000 miles and counting

My only issue was a nuisance with deep sleep, but I reset the Battery Monitoring System and it's been great for 18 months since.

I get it that numerous people have had issues, especially hybrid owners with cv joints, grabby brakes, limp mode or total power loss. But, knock on wood, my ecoboost awd trucks have been perfect and I'm sure there are a lot of others with the same experience.
