XLT,4k,AWD. 14,000 miles. Well, not one issue,no interior plastic scratches,no chipped windshields,no leaks,no brake or engine problems.tires look like new ( I never rotate) oil changed at Ford's recommendation of 5000 miles. Did have the 2 software update recalls .very happy with the truck.hoping to get at least 15 years out of it like my ram, which I hope to get 20 years out of .time will tell!
I have been lucky also. The only time that I have had an almost issue is when I started getting the battery messages on my phone. The truck was in a bump shop getting a bad scratch repaired. When the truck was inside the shop they left the key inside the truck. The communication between the truck and key ran the battery down. After driving it for a few days the problem went away

Have never saw a need to,maybe all my vehicles have had good suspensions/ alignment. All 4 tires always look the same,so it would be a waste of time and money, for me anyway.
At the risk of some thread creep……….
Let me add to the ā€œno rotateā€œ school……..
If I had an alignment problem, mostly undetectable with today’s mushy power steering, then perhaps one tire will wear more than the others. With rotation, that problem would remain mostly undetected until all four have some damage.
I don’t rotate. When a problem becomes readily apparent, I MAY shift the ā€œproblemā€ tire to the opposite side to equalize wear on that pair. Then, after a proper alignment, replace that pair, maybe also moving a set fore and aft.
Iā€˜ve heard all of the opinions concerning this issue. This is just my way, learned over 60 years of driving.
I didn’t always feel this way. Along with tech changes came changes in my way of thinking.
With age comes wisdom.

Exactly.i also have age and experience driving almost 50 years. When young and " impressionable" I rotated once at my dealers " advice". All 4 tires looked the same.that was the one and only time. I monitored the tires on the myriad of vehicles owned in those 50 years and saw no difference in any of the tires . Waste of time, effort and money i.m.o. if a tire were to show a different wear pattern there is another issue that needs to be addressed first.

518 days.. šŸ¤—
Only Two recalls (which I Have Not Done -just the tail light ones, Which i check anyway).
No Issues..
Yes, I paid $3000 markup and traveled 250 miles to get it. But, everyday I get to drive it makes all that worthwhile....

So since you do not rotate your tires do you usually get the miles out of your tires as they are warrantied for? The reason I ask is here in Cincinnati Discount tire NOT (Tire Discounters) will rotate your tires for free even if you did not buy the tires from them. (like my new Maverick) so besides waiting 30 minutes for tire rotation there is no reason besides worrying they might screw something up. I would guess that not rotating tires on a compact car might ok but my Maverick is AWD and has expensive Michelin tires so I am rotating every 7500 miles.

2022 Hybrid here, no issues either. Lots of trips to the dealership to get the recalls done but they have a fancy coffee machine so its a welcome break for my day LOL

the OP has mentioned in several posts just that I've seen why he doesn't rotate. it's the same response every time. most look on in horror, a few others say they don't rotate either.

the tire shops probably love that. besides wearing longer, it's quite useful to have tires with a similar level of grip, hydroplaning resistance, and handling on each axle.

instead, when you wear out the front tires first (which is guaranteed to happen on any maverick, and very fast on fwd models) you'll be susceptible to understeer and hydroplaning, and then when they are new (let's say 2nd or 3rd pair of fronts), the rear will then be finally worn and we all know oversteer in the rain or snow is always an adventure.

It is the internet, no one comes here to be happy :D

I'm happy about the weird area 51 color.
I'm happy I can pile all sorts of crap, including bikes, into my vehicle.
I'm happy about the gas mileage.
I'm happy that when I press the gas pedal down the vehicle responds, previous hybrid was a prius.

Almost a year with my used hybrid maverick.
The only thing that sets me off is the shitty entertainment system that cannot follow a playlist so listening to audiobooks is painful.
Okay, the fact I ended up paying list on a used car bothered me, but demand still outstrips supply unless I want to travel 500 miles to pick up a car.

Zero issues with my 230 day old hybrid with 10,000 miles and I couldn't be happier.

Maintenance has been a 5000 mile tire rotation, 10,000 mile check up at 9150 miles, oil change( 22% remaining) & 2nd tire rotation. 3 software update recalls done (even though they were for issues I didn't have) all completed by Sunrise Ford mobile service at my work location. I used $45 of Ford pass points for the oil change but everything else was no charge.

Just wanted to share my positive experience with my truck, bloated pig , unicorn or whatever other moniker suits your fancy.

If a few gremlins with the audio head unit count until ford updated the software then yes. Other than that no issues that could be related to it's manufacture so far.

I have almost identical results as you, same vehicle specs, change oil every 5,000 miles, no problems. I have just 1,000 more miles on mine!! Congrats.
