I have picked it up at long last. Over the past year many things changed. I took a promotion and transfer from PA to Fl. When we found out truck was at dealer I was in NC for business so after a one way car rental an a 10 hr drive I was able to pick it up. Upon which was the drive back to NC. The dealer was great to work with. Sold at MSRP and accepted Xplan. Said that they only do MSRP. They also states that Ford did not like dealers selling above MSRP and realized that they cannot force them to but could make the process hurtful. He said that if the vehicle is sold in less than 30 days they would get four allocations and that if it took longer than the allocations would reduce to zero and might go negative. I don’t know the exact breakdown on days and allocations but I can see the logic. A Maverick that is 10k over msrp would not sell as fast as one at msrp. This would incentivize dealers to sell at msrp in order to protect future sales
