Oh nice!!! I ordered Cyber Orange too! I just ordered on Friday 22nd so I am not expecting anything anytime soon, lol!

Oh boy. Good luck. I ordered 5 weeks ago so I have a long way to go as well. My current plan is to accessorize mine with the fender flares, chunkier off road style tires (possibly with new wheels), soft roll up tonneau cover, and some "FX2" decals from the Ranger. I just like the look of the FX4 decals I've seen on other Mavericks, but I'll be 2 wheel drive, lol, so FX2 decals.

Perfect thread title. I ordered 7/21 -- hybrid Lariat Lux with hard rollup tonneau

I am not in the situation of needing a relatively immediate replacement for my current vehicle. BUUT, my 2013 Insight has about 100k miles on it, and I've already had a warranty repaired major mechanical failure, about 30k miles ago. Also, I want some time to prepare for taking on a car payment, so I'm hoping my current ride holds-up, and I don't have to get the financing until at least mid-December.


Do you all think Ford misjudged how popular the hybrid version would be? Do you think it was a bait and switch maneuver to get people excited for the hybrid, only to pump extra cash out of their customers in funneling them towards the 2.0 turbo models?

What do y'all think are the reasons why Ford emphasized the hybrid only get put hard limits on hybrid production?

To put it another way...is the hybrid delay a bug, or a feature in the development life cycle?

You're right. They completely blew it on the hybrid/ICE ratio. I have been driving a 2018 Ford C-Max and I love their Atkinson Cycle hybrid system. I'm averaging over 50mpg which far exceeds the posted EPA numbers. Small hybrid trucks are far easier for folks to adapt to before they can go full electric.

I believe the medications are given out to this group every Thursday starting around 10 AM eastern time.

He's getting a red truck. He ordered a hybrid RR FE. Then became worried that he might never get it. So I ordered a hybrid HPR Lariat with lux, 360, and moonroof. Ironically, they are scheduled to be built a week apart.

I already have a Prius, and I'm ready to stop sharing it with the man. He needs his truck.

I know a couple people with rapid red Mustangs. Great looking color! It will be interesting to see which one he prefers.
