I drive my truck every week. Once a week, and sleep mode is happening more and more. Getting concerned. Hybrid of course

Road trip! Not sure if it was an update or what, but no more deep sleep messages. I got about 15-20 the first year. Never caused any issues even with the messages. Same battery but DS just kinda went away.I drive my truck every week. Once a week, and sleep mode is happening more and more. Getting concerned. Hybrid of course
I'm telling you the requirements of our trucks require this type of battery. You need the 600CCA - AGM H5 Group type of battery. Get this battery, reset the BCM and be done with it. This will save you trips going back to the dealership and them installing inferior batteries and telling you to "drive more" and you scratching your head with more sleep messages 3 months later even though you drove from Florida to Oregon and back. So much has been wrote on this. Yes, you will have to buy your own battery. But in most cases the AGM batteries are cheaper that a high grade flooded battery. And you will be DONE with this mess. Won't need the trickle charger, do-hickey set ups or the need to hard charging the battery every 3 months. You will be done, and happy and able to drive and enjoy. Best wishes to you!!Under sized 12v battery..
Check Walmart...

Agree 100%. Replaced the crappy Ford battery (which they replaced FOUR times, always having the same issues still) with a Diehard about eight months ago, with no problems since. Hated having the pay out of pocket but in the long haul it was for the best.I'm telling you the requirements of our trucks require this type of battery. I assume this battery fit ok? I see that the width is 9-9/16" vs the stock width of ~8".You need the 600CCA - AGM H5 Group type of battery. Get this battery, reset the BCM and be done with it.
Does this battery fit properly under the seat with the plastic cover on?I'm telling you the requirements of our trucks require this type of battery. DieHard EV Battery: H4 Group Size, 570 CCA, 710 CA, 80 Minute Reserve Capacity

I have the Die Hard (Non-AGM) T4 470 CCA 585CA 70 minute reserve. I wasn't aware of the AGM type batteries until after I purchased it. To answer your question, yes to all questions. Venting can be done. Others have done it. My Die Hard battery lasted 4 months till I got a "deep sleep" message. So I did a full charge on it and reset the BCM. Christmas time I will get the Interstate AGM 65-48/H6 760CCA battery, fully charge it over night before installing it, I'm going to buy the Forscan thing-a-ma-bob, reset the charge percentage to 95%, install the battery, reset the BCM and then I should be completely done with this mess. Yes, I will have to invest around $300 to $400 dollars, but my truck won't die on the road, I won't get sleep messages and I won't be making trips to the dealer to convince them otherwise. In other words..............."That be all".I assume this battery fit ok? I see that the width is 9-9/16" vs the stock width of ~8".
I was looking at the Die Hard Platinum AGM H5, also 9-9/16" wide, but not sure about the vent location hookup...
The DieHard Gold Battery T4 (not AGM) is also on my list, it's closer to stock size at 8-1/8".
How can you fit in an H6 battery?...Christmas time I will get the Interstate AGM 65-48/H6 760CCA battery,
There are various threads on this. People have made it work. I can't describe it in a sentence. Best I can say is to put in the search bar AGM H6 battery install or AGM battery install. I have seen photos of people cutting the plastic around the battery area and installing their own mounting housings. How can you fit in an H6 battery?
