Does anyone have or has anyone used this for a jump? Is it worth getting with my Ford Points?

I bought a GB70 a while back even before I got my Hybrid and I love it! I have had to use it about 5 times on my SUV which had a crappy battery for a while (it is still showing a full charge). I picked up my truck Sunday and the NOCO Boost was the first thing I transferred out of the SUV and into the Maverick. The only reason I bought the GB70 is it was on sale (Amazon), and I often have to help employees and customers jump their vehicles and sometimes they have big engines.

GB40 is $99 on Amazon. Can probably find a better use of points and then just grab it on Amazon.

I have the GB40. Messed around with it on my Dad's 74 NOVA and surprisingly it turned it over quite a few times (it wasn't going to start regardless).

Would recommend.

Got one in two of my three cars/truck and a GB50 in the third car. Highly recommend. I’ll never hook car-to-car for jumps anymore. Too much fragile tech in cars to risk it plus the Noco has many safety features to protect the user.

The Noco GB40 became my best friend during my time with the Maverick hybrid. A necessity in my case.

Wouldn't Couldn't leave home without it. Or work, or anywhere...

I've carried a GB150 in my vehicles since they came out. Only used once or twice, but way easier, especially in the rain to help someone out. It's become a dual use charger for other things while on the road or camping and has lasted a long long time.

lol, I've got one of those small jump boxes (still do) and it cranked my 6.2L easily.
Hybrid accessory, absolutely.

I agree with others to get the GB40 from amazon, only a hundred bucks. I have one that I got when my old Saturn's dashbord sounder died and I started killing my battery by forgetting to turn my headlights off. It worked a treat. It currently lives under my back seat in my Mav, but I haven't had to use it yet.

That said, if buying again, I'd probably get the GBX45 simply for the more modern USB-C charging.

I have at least 6 of them and all family members have them now so we have over 20 between us. I even use them at home for lawn mowers, bikes etc. I have GB40 and up to GB150...don't go smaller and all of them have cases. GB40 used to be as low as $79 on special sales....like Prime day. Newer models on sale but GB40 is fine for the Maverick. On larger V8s I would use a larger model since the GB40 may not start a high performance V8. We all charge them every 6 months and all are still in operation even some that are 3-4 years old. Saved many family members with dead batteries while shopping or on trips. Many other makes out there...some cheaper...but the NOCO has never let me down and you can charge it in the car while you are driving if needed.

I have one like that I got from Costco and it's great. Also has USB ports and a flashlight.

WOW the gb150 is $300 now, was way cheaper years ago, not sure if the gb-40 was available back then. FWIW I check on it twice a year and barely loses any charge, so only plug it in once in a while. If I'm on a trip I use in-cabin charging while I drive to the next portion of the adventure.

I have a no-name version for $50 from Amazon and it's been useful a few times over the past 3 years.
