At some point, it seems to me, Ford is just, going to have to start fulfilling the orders placed and continue ramping up production and not follow the allocation algorithm in order to get these to customers sooner rather than later. For example, if Chapman has 400 orders and only 10% have been fulfilled, of they only get a handful of orders filled every month it will be forever to get through the orders already placed.

FYI, if you got scheduled and got your VIN, it seems to take a few hours(24 according to some) for it to propagate across the system before you can register the vehicle on Ford.com or on the Fordpass app.

Hello all, I'm not certain how I got so lucky,but I ordered my truck 10 days ago and got an email saying mine is scheduled for production the week of December 13th.

Since you ordered an Ecoboost I'm not really surprised to see you get scheduled that fast. If you ordered a hybrid and got scheduled that fast though... that's a different story.

I'm still suprised that there are people with Ecoboost orders that still haven't gotten scheduled. It feels like Ford's desperate to fill those orders.

For example, if Chapman has 400 orders and only 10% have been fulfilled, of they only get a handful of orders filled every month it will be forever to get through the orders already placed.

If I was at the back of that line, I wouldn't expect my Maverick for a year. Assuming the 10% is correct and their allocations stay constant, that's anywhere from 9 to 18 months of orders.

I have a feeling most dealers allocations will increase as production ramps up so take this as a worse case scenario and estimate. Your mileage may vary. Batteries not included.
