all appears to be spring thickness ( pre-tension ) for the ride height , overall rate , and obviously different valving to control that rate .
Thought I’d throw it out there for anyone wanting to know.
bolt right in .

Interesting, but what use would there be in having swapping the front? The rear suspension isn't compatible between fwd and AWD models.

Thanks, anything learned adds to the library. FX4 is a missing bit
Every thing points to Tremor spring rates being lower than FX4 starting with reduced payload.

Appreciate this post. Curious to see if you notice a difference in ride quality.

Factory leveling kit? Probably a big hit in the Carolinas. Plus the improved shocks would make for a better ride if you had rough roads on your travels.

Also trying to figure out if Tremor shocks would work on our FX4 that has the tow package and HR lift springs ? The ride quality has gotten a little worse since it's been lifted for over a year now. Still decent ride but a little too bouncy I guess.

If this softened up the ride but kept the height the same, it could be a godsend for hybrid owners looking for a more compliant ride. Of course they're probably insanely expensive.

Yeah , I won’t know on ride quality , I went flat out suspension on my tremor , that’s why mine are off the truck and the hybrid one was off a wrecked truck I’m fixing and flipping , just thought I’d compare and post . I had quoted a strut and spring price at ford dealer , believe it was about $130 for a strut and around $50 for the spring , so about 200 each corner and they were about a week out ( Detroit stock).
Gotta remember this IS a cheap truck so parts even at the dealer not that bad.

Thread may be too old, to reply to. Posted this exact question before I found this thread. Just got my 25 XL AWD Hybrid. $500 to level my new truck with factory parts seems a good deal. Has anyone ever actually tried this swap on the front only?
