I and many others would have liked a hybrid AWD. Besides the obvious any other item or items that would not only be convenient but help with safety?

I have 2 well maybe 3 because one actually are 2 in one. I really would have liked to get optional extending exterior mirrors for towing with heating. The lux package offers heated mirrors but can't fathom living with a plastic bed liner for the life of the vehicle, along with no option to get extended mirrors.

2 I also would have liked to order hood insulation that would not weigh much but still help with sound deadening and heat resistant that will not add much additional weight. I don't want to give up carrying capacity, gas mileage and/or make it difficult to open and hold the hood up while placing the rod to hold it up. So engineering needs to come up with a different material then they have used on other vehicles. Then again maybe I'm asking to much.

Anyway just curious on your thoughts.

Sorry man, I gotta say it... there is a new thread on this stuff every week and one that is currently 14 pages long. See similar threads below.

Also the second thread you started where people are going to chime in telling you to use the search button or simply browse a bit more. Just trying to be helpful man, it gets old and repetitive seeing a new thread on these discussions from new members over and over.

The glass is always full btw... half gas half liquid (your sig).

Thanks couldn't find it when I searched but definitely below after your post."What option would you want that wasn't offered" Most likely because I used different wording. It wasn't intentional.

Just like many others on here, a hybrid AWD. That's why I went for the Ecoboost otherwise I would've gotten the hybrid. It would've been my first hybrid. Another thing that scared me away were the first model year teething issues such as the deep sleep mode, risk of engine fire, heated catalytic converters when remote starting, etc.

Another feature would be a slightly bigger touchscreen that eliminates the pointless cubby hole. I've had my Maverick for almost two years and have never used it. A bigger screen would remedy that but not big enough to where it looks like an iPad tacked onto the dash. Maybe 10 inches or so? I wouldn't want the Escape center stack that takes away physical buttons and instead integrates most of them into that screen. That's a deal breaker for me.

If I had to choose one more, ventilated seats. Being in South Florida, there a must. Even with the sunshade put in everyday and having a light interior, it still gets hot as hell in there during the summer. So ventilated seats would go a long way.

Now that I've had the truck a while, my thoughts on changes have, changed.

1. A good AGM battery in hybrid from the factory
2. Sound deadening package, don't have the time or energy to do this myself.
3. LED Light package, Lariat style DRL optionally available on XL and XLT, Turn signal lights on the side mirrors
4. Push button start/smart key

1. Heated mirrors to go along with the heated seats.

2. Tailgate release in the cab or on the remote.

3. Pockets on the back of the front seats.
I believe they already have these. Unfortunately you have to upgrade to a different trim and/or add a package to get them.

Memory seats and full Sync is all I'd really want to add to an XLT Lux.
