Over the many years that I was in the car business this was a common issue. Ford overinflates the tires for shipment and the dealer is supposed to set to the proper inflation. Predelivery techs forget to do this and you end up with your issue. Pet peeve of the dealer I worked for and for me at...
This really looks great!!!
Is this a kit or did you lay it out yourself? If it is a kit would like to know where you got it and a link if possible. I have been debating about doing this on my 23 Lariat for about a year now!
Sure hope it is a false photo to throw us off. UGLY Regarding the dash we have a 2023 Escape for my wife as well as my 2023 Maverick. You get used to the full electronics after a while but I really do like the Maverick better.
Don't have anything to add on suggestions. This post brought me back to my years as a salesman in the Ford business. Our dealer was empathic to the pre-delivery dept to deflate to normal pressures. He knew that vehicles would ride rough on a demo ride. This was in the 70s and 80s so a long-time...
Per Hawaiian Airlines...... “Hang loose,” “Right on,” “Thank you,” “Things are great,” “Take it easy” – in Hawaii, the shaka sign expresses all those friendly messages and more. As kamaaina know, to make the shaka, you curl your three middle fingers while extending your thumb and baby finger...
Interesting string! I was in the car business and stressed to the predelivery techs that you need to deflate tires to recommended pressure. That made demo drives and customer complaints about harsh ride a lot less frequent.
I have a Bed Rug and it fits perfectly and looks really good! Problem is if I want to haul anything the least bit grungy, I have to use a temporary tarp to keep it from getting dirty.
I had the same problem to a lesser degree with my Lo-Max trifold. Two trips back to the installer and it was close to correct. They added automotive rubber gasket stick-on material along the tailgate edges also. Said that used to be standard on pick-ups but not anymore.
All that made things...
My wife's Escape has a front camera for parking and obstructions. My Maverick Lariat does not even with the high-level package. Obviously Ford could have made this available on the Maverick as the two vehicles share a lot of the same parts. Why not?
Agree on those weird door handles??? My only real gripe with my Lariat is that it has front radar (which makes the grill look goofy) but no sensor or camera to detect objects when parking or close proximity to other vehicles.
