DID Ford remove the heated windshield wipers on the 2024 Lariat?

They might not equip the relay and just be using the windshields that were already produced with capability.

My '22 always seems to have the mirror switch lit when I get in and it's 39˚ or lower. I've never checked my windshield...I will tomorrow though.

I respectfully disagree with Tim. This IS the symbol for the heated windshield, also not present on my MY24 Lariat (w/lux).

I hope you are right... it seemed like it might be a useful option and I was a little disappointed to hear it had been cut and was surprised as it is still listed in the Lariat Lux Package on Ford.ca in my saved build.

I don't think it's the wipers or windshield that's heated,rather the plastic " well" that the wiper blades rest in when turned off. Plz correct if I'm wrong.

The windshield has heating wires in the bottom of the glass, like the rear windows on cars. There is a picture of a windshield with a wiper blade and heat where the windshield info is located at the lower left hand corner of the windshield.

Easiest is to check your windshield markings to know for sure.

That feature was dropped for 2024 along with the exterior keypad, so only 22 & 23 Lariat models have them. They're tied into the heated mirrors when the Lux is added. (Supposedly the wiring is no longer present, making it impractical to replace the glass with one containing the heating elements).

You can also invoke them by pressing the 'Max' button with the front window defroster button, which lights up all three buttons, as an FYI. The mirror/wipers run below 40 degrees automatically.

That picture looks to be from the 2023 Maverick because it says requires CP360. In 2024 the Lariat comes standard with Luxury Package, CP360 Package, and CP360 Assist+ Package. And also bed rails and SIBL.

It does say the same on my 2024 Lariat order.... Ford never removed it from the Lariat package.

I did the build a few weeks ago. Definitely after the MY24 dropped and after my order was rolled over by my dealer. I reopened the saved build yesterday and took the screen capture.
