Maverick 2022 Steering Wheel got crazy while i try parking at work,
the steering wheel bounces back and force , the computer screen restarted

How are you rotating that 360 degrees? Does that happen while driving?

I was driving into my parking spot and started to happen, but the computer screen been restarting while driving for a couple months now

he does not rotate it 360. it appears to bounce back hard when he hits the end of the steering travel in either direction.

there have been some trucks with issues with the electric power steering. I am not sure of the systems, what is involved in repair, etc. I just know I've read of a similar issue before.

Beginning at the 7 second mark, he literally rotates it 360+ degrees

yeah, that's a normal thing to happen when you're at full right lock and then go to full left lock.

the thumping and kickback at each end of the steering lock is obviously not normal.

I concur regarding the thumping and kickback issues. However, I doubt I can turn my wheel as far left/right as shown in the video. It feels like there might be an issue with the wheel or something related to the linkage.

yes looks like steering system because it's even not reach to the end of the diretions

NOT ANOTHER POTENTIAL RECALL TO DELAY MY DELIVERY!

This looks pretty bad, I've seen similar/worse things, and usually it comes down to the steering wheel control module. Be safe out there, glad they are offering tow and loaner

Not sure home much torque is on that wheel jerking back but If you were a woman with narrow wrists that would be an injury right there blamed on Ford and Mav production would halt lol.

yes it was strong bounce , the video not showing the force, i never see something like that before
