To avoid the battery save mode, I now attach a battery tender (NOCO 5) once a week. I am waiting for a fix from Ford too. I personally think it is BMS issue...
I put a battery tender on the truck the first couple nights after I got it home, first week of Oct. I also put it on the tender overnight about once a week or at least every other week. Haven't had any battery issues at all.
Of course, one shouldn't have to be doing such nonsense with a brand new truck. And whatever the problem is, it's affecting both Hybrid & ecoboost models. Maybe it's multiple issues.

I did a successful Battery Management System reset, then let the Maverick sit for four days without driving it. The BMS activated battery-saving measures again and the interior lights wouldn't go on when unlocking the truck with the fob or opening the door. After driving it a little over an hour, things resumed working normally.

When I bring it in for the directional light outage recall, I'll have the dealership check it out.

I used to have the same issues after driving all day and park, 10 minutes goes by and I get the low batt message on ford pass. Dealer did all the update with all the modules. Didn’t fix anything. I ended up putting an optima yellow top DH 5 in, no more low battery warnings. I can actually use the app now to start my truck and as a bonus, I have interior lights.

How long before you had issues with Ford battery and how long have you had aftermarket one for ?

I'm still waiting on my letter from Ford regarding the tail light recall, so I haven't had my Maverick checked out yet. But... I have not had another instance of the BMS shutting down the interior lights, so maybe the BMS reset did the trick. I think I left it undriven for four days -three, for sure, but I think four- without the issue. Previously, it was three or four days of sitting unused that triggered the BMS.

Nope... happened again. But I received my recall notice in the mail yesterday. I'll make an appointment at the dealership to have the recall work down and also have the battery/BMS issue checked out.

Good luck on getting the BMS issue checked out by the dealer. So far, most dealers said the BMS is okay. By design the BMS shuts various accessories when the battery discharge level gets low.

8 days since my visit to the dealer. When I showed up, I had already installed a DieHard Gold T4 battery. They didn't find anything. But since my visit, no "sleep" messages or dome light issues. They may have reset my BMS thought it wasn't listed on my invoice. They did do the tailight recall.

The dealership (Autosaver Ford in Comstock, NY) completed my recall and checked on my BMS/battery issue.

They replaced my battery and said they'd contact me in a week or so to see if that fixes the problem.

Did you have an EFB or AGM battery originally in your Mav? Did they replace it with an AGM battery?

How many of these low batteries have been after a software update?
For me NONE.

Before the Update I had two Deep Sleep Messages but the truck started right up.
After the Software Update on my 2022 Maverick Hybrid in April 2023 it never again had a Deep Sleep.

I sold the 2022 Maverick Hybrid to Carvana in August 2023 so that was four months with no Deep Sleep issues.

I bought my current 2023 Maverick Hybrid in September 2023 and have now had it for four months with no Deep Sleep issues.

So for me the eight months with the software update fixed the Deep Sleep issue.

I never looked closely at the one that was in it originally. There's a shiny new AGM battery under the hood now. (y)

And... the new AGM battery the dealer installed did not fix the issue. After sitting for four days, the Maverick went into battery-saving mode, with no exterior or interior lights not coming on when I unlocked the truck.
