Took my truck to the dealer last week for the third time regarding the Deep Sleep issue. Tested good and took a charge, but it was right on the Good/Bad line. Service manager told me to bring it back just before the warranty expires this summer, and it will probably test bad and be replaced at that point. I plan to 'help' it along and drain it real good the night before.
Unfortunately, they would not replace it with AGM even if I offer to pay the difference. Said they couldn't find a FoMoCo that would fit. So I'm going to get an AGM and get them to replace the SLA, and use the new SLA for some other projects.
