Well, hate to tell you, but the same day I got that email, I got a second, changing it to the 25th.

I recommend you to not check email anymore ...

I promise not to check my email as soon as I get the production email… and I again promise not to bug my inventory guy or sales person as soon as I get my production email…

I just got informed that I too got my scheduled build date moved to one week later.

11/15 now instead of the 11/8 original date.

I got the update email from my dealer with the new date and did not receive an update from Ford that others who had build dates changed did.

EDIT: I received the "Production Date has Changed" email from Ford four days after my dealer emailed me. Others were experiencing delayed email from Ford at the time so it looks like mine also got stuck for awhile.

I'm still hoping for my new truck to be delivered by mid-December.

My sales person told me that he was has been trying to talk to Ford and it has been just a big s*** show. Nobody really knows what is going on. I have the feeling they are trying to hide something but nobody really has the bal*s to admit it. It seems to become another disaster like with the Bronco.....

I suspect that the reason my dealer called me today to see if I would be interested in the FX4 Lariat that just showed up is because they too have not been able to get anywhere with Ford on my order, after several attempts. Isn't looking very promising.

My build was scheduled for 10/18. When I typed the vin into Ford's website today it finally said "IN PRODUCTION" and gives me my window sticker.

I popped by my dealer yesterday. Sales guy said my build date is 10/22 (Friday of 10/18 week). I had the same 10/11 week rescheduled to 10/18 week. The fact that it is supposedly Friday of that week makes me a little nervous..... but no new email from Ford.

I’ld say your dealer didn’t load your email for notifications. There are two slots for that and you might ask them to add yours. Just saying if you want to start getting email updates.

I asked my dealer two days ago, and he supposedly checked the VVR...He said nothing showed up there. Neither tracker I've checked shows anything beyond scheduled for production. I wonder if the lady from Ford was looking at the correct VIN...early in the conversation she gave me the wrong order date....I am crossing my fingers and toes that yours gets built soon as well.

I wouldn't recommend a call. Unless you have an hour of road time for the hold, no dead cell zones, and patience for the bad news sure to come at the end of the call.

I hope it doesn't turn out to be that big a cluster*@#%. But that might explain why crickets from dealer, spotty emails and tracker info, and 45 minute hold times for phone calls to Ford.
