Delaying hybrids equals appeasing the hybrid crowd?
I read somewhere of some hybrid builds that were scheduled in ahead of schedule/before my ecoboost. I think it's according to the rest of the build, but my point was delaying mine to slip in a few hybrids to quieten the masses that feel all the hybrids have been put on hold.

I also had the 10/11 build date and got the email this morning changing it to the 18th..... I stand with you in impatience!
must be the spray in bedliner that is causing delays.

I have counted eleven different Hybrid orders that had their production date moved 2 to 3 weeks later than when they were originally scheduled for. Some posted here others posted on different threads that they were moved.

Eight were moved from 11/8 to 11/29, one was moved from 11/22 to 12/6 and one only said delayed 2 weeks.

Of the eleven only six specified the model. Three were XL and the other three were Lariat.

Not one of the eleven specified XLT.

My Hybrid build is still scheduled for 11/8 and it is a XLT.

It looks like Ford is bunching like builds together with 11/8 for XLT and 11/29 for XL and Lariat.

If that is what they are doing then this Thursday 10/7 we may see more Hybrid XLT's scheduled for 11/8.
Fingers crossed 🤞

Today it's been 3 months since I put my order in and still all I've heard is those first couple emails from Ford 😢

Just getting an email acknowledgement from Ford would be akin to bobbing naked in a violent sea and having someone toss you a life saver and shouting, "hang on - we heard the Coast guard is on the way......but we don't know how long it will take them to get here!"

Knowing my luck...I only ordered mine that way because the salesman discouraged me from ordering options any way but in the packages. I WANTED a bedmat

I am wondering how many more are in this club without knowing? I wouldn't have known if I was not at the dealership yesterday......

I got an email from Ford for my notification, obviously, but not gonna lie...I am disappointed in my salesman...he has not contacted me since the initial order. I reached out to him about a question early on, but he was not helpful at all. I normally have a good relationship with this dealer (they buy parts from me at my job, and the salesman was friends and coworkers with my late husband), but if I had not already ordered, I would most likely go somewhere else to buy.
Here's to hoping our membership ranks shrink quickly!!

My dealer called today. They got an FX4 lariat. Wanted to know if I was interested. Might have been except I have no need of the FX4 package. Other than that, and it not being the color I want, it was configured just the way I wanted. Bummer. One note: It also included the spray-in bed liner. That means that, to some degree, it is not holding up the builds. I did read elsewhere on here that about 17% of the Lariat builds were coming out with the spray liner.
