My Q garage app

Has anyone had success with getting the My Q garage door app to work on the Maverick display? I cannot get it to show up in the app list.

I am using an iPhone. I can get several apps ( Libby, Hoopla, music, maps) to show on the infotainment scree, but no My Q?

I read somewhere (I think in one of the ForScan forums) that Apple limits the type of apps that can run in CarPlay. Apps such as music, maps, podcasts etc.

MyQ(Chamberlain Group)suspended their API back in early November. They have now gone to a subscription based model and it is only supported by a few manufacturers. Ford is not one of them.

If you open the app on your phone on the bottom right you will see a "Works With" button. Tap that and you can see what devices MyQ is supported on. Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Ford are not listed.

I have Tailwind and just use Siri to close garage and I have a small transmitter (puck) that serves to open the garage door automatically when I approach.

You could create a routine on an android phone invoke it with the voice assistant.

I use a regular opener in my truck, but I do use MyQ sometimes if I'm doing yard work, bike ride, etc. They don't want to make it too easy for you to use the app, they want to sell the service or an opener of course...

Not without a jailbroken iphone. Which on anything newer than an iphone X, has to be on OS 15.0 - 15.4.1.

I use the Meross garage door app on my 13 mini.
