Well, it sounds like the dealer may cut you some slack on the price. Then again, we could be spitting in the wind, but here is my reasoning. Fifty years ago, I bought a set of Dunlop tires for my Datsun 1600 sports car from NTW, with the usual 40K-mile guarantee. The tires were CRAP, and disintegrated in less than 10K miles. I took the tires back to NTW, who said that Dunlop would NOT make good on their warranty, but NTW WOULD SUPPORT THE GUARANTEE SINCE THEY SOLD ME THE TIRES. In this context, I am hoping that your DEALER will do the same. Then again, that was 50 years ago.I think my dealership has been trying as much as they can. They have had similar issues about even getting information about my 2023 order. The answer from my dealership was we can figure out appropriate pricing once you 2024 order shows up.
