Those numbers make me happy.

How much for a fill up? It’s $70+ every fill up for me, once a week.
The question and example you gave is rather silly. $70 a week in gas is not enough information to go on to use for anything.

407.4 miles divided By 26.3MPG =15.49 gallons

15.49 gallons times you 87 gas price = your estimated price per tank that will drive an estimated 407.4 miles

variables to consider

Gas prices range from high $2 to $5 around the country.
Your MPG may vary drastically based on driving style and conditions
This is only 407.4 miles, how far was the $70 getting you?

The Trip 1 is only showing 14m36s so isn't the 26.3 MPG only over that time?

If you really went 407.4 miles in 14m36s you would have to have been traveling at 1674 MPH.

Now if I am reading the time wrong and it is showing 14h36m then over those 407.4 miles you should have gotten 27.9 MPG not the 26.3 MPG shown.

Something doesn't add up here.
Lol what? You just made my brain bleed..

How does the time have anything to do with the mpg?
You are right "brain fart"

The one showing 156.2 Miles is accurate as that one took 2H:31M:06S so the 30.8 MPG was over a 2.5183 Hour time frame that averaged 62 MPH.

The one showing 407.4 Miles is not accurate over those miles as there is no way to travel that distance in 14M:36S. So the 26.3 MPG must be over a shorter trip.

Half a tank and I'm at 26.6 with a mix of highway and city driving.

Given my daily driving, I am loving these MPG reports. I have really been second guessing myself on going with the 2.0 EB and not the hybrid. If these numbers hold true and I think they will given my driving style I will totally be happy with my choice.

After 9 hours:59 minutes:59 seconds the display switches to simply Hours:Minutes. 26.3 MPG was, as stated, over 407.4 miles.

Thanks.

I did not know that.

Maverick Owners Manual wasn't any help as it doesn't say anything about how time is displayed.

Or you could just tell me how much it costs you to fill up the tank. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I wasn’t really looking to dive into a breakdown of numbers and mileage and all that jazz. It’s $3+ per gallon here, and when I don’t drive on the highway, I might get 450 miles out of it. I wondered how much of a difference it would be between $280~ a month on gas versus the Maverick.

I don’t see what’s silly about answering a basic question.

To get a accurate representation you need to take into account MPG and fuel cost. Not how much a tank costs to fill up, or you should think about tank size. I know what you wanted and your question doesn’t take in enough variables to give you an accurate assessment. But I don’t care anymore. This would cost $46.5 to fill up at $3 a gallon from at or near empty (15.5 Gallons)
