I cut the wheel both ways and took a peek at my front end-

At 11k all 4 of my boots are dry...

I noticed a nice sticker on the shaft

Did you blow your shaft out of your chingus? Is that why you need a new one?

If your front end is dry maybe you need a lube job? How's your rear end?

What is the weakest link in the hybrid?

And how do YOU know?

Show proof. Give documentation please.

Thank you.

😆

Somehow I knew you couldn't move along-

Even though you obviously know little to nothing about actual mechanics...

It's ok to be obsessed with my shaft, but could you please stop being such a pathetic troll???

The Dana components in the Maverick only apply to the AWD models and it is the rear axle/differential they are talking about. The front CV axles are not Dana on any of the Mavericks.

So what do you all think about putting 235 ,60,18 tires on a hybrid (truck came w the 225, 18)? Would that really cause more wear on the axles? Thx 4 any insight-

I wouldn't think bigger wheel/tires would do much. BUT lifting truck if needed to get them to fit would. If no lift needed I wouldn't worry about it. Thats my 2 cents.

Some guy on here thinks it will blow out your chingus. Do you want to risk it?

Tailgate net: I see no use.

Unless maybe your tailgate got stolen and a replacement is on infinite backorder. Then it's one increment above useless.

But that's me.
But off topic. I'm sorry Vapor brought it up.

Knew that long ago. Glad you finally figured it out.

Why not add something truck related to yours now?

Dana makes the RDU which is a rear differential unit, which is not an axle. Yes it is a Dana supplied part but OP is mistaken in designating it as an axle.

Wasn't @fossil the one who thought hybrid axles are from Dana???

If Dana made the hybrid axles, I doubt we'd be seeing so many premature failures-
yes I expected they were Dana. You were the one who thought the axles were Ford built and the electric motor was just a mere mention in the article.
